Finally saw Civil War. While I'm not disappointed per say, I did expect better. Likely because spiderman, Antman, and black panther were my favorite characters in the movie and they are such small roles in the grand scheme of the MCU

I enjoyed Civil War but god damn the new Spiderman bugged the living shit out of me. RIP Andrew Garfield

I hate all of the movie Spider-men because they all portray the whiny teenage version of Peter Parker. I want adult Peter Parker that has a PhD and his own tech company.

I rewatched the first spider-man movie tonight 'cuz I've been wanting to for a while, and out of curiosity for whether it was as good as I remember, and yeah, it was. Definitely prefer it to Amazing Spider-man.

Just something about charismatic but awkward white guy that I love. I am also, of course, a sucker for romances that don't work out, so that certainly helps.

But honestly, Amazing Spider-man parker was just a generic early-2000s cool kid, and it was not interesting or exciting in any way for me. Like, honestly, who cares. Not me, that's who.

My skin is finally getting soft
I'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

Yeah I remember really enjoying the first TM spider man. The second two, not so much. Didn't love AG as spiderman, so this new guy was fine by me. He wasn't worse than AG anyway...

I can't believe today is my 12th anniversary of joining this website.

I'm going to milk Goon's teats

Looks like my last day will be next week Thursday then i'm off to Greece for 3 weeks on the 30th. Seriously can't wait.

Randomly remembered some TIF nostalgia. Anybody remember our collective effort on Drawball? Good times.

We managed to do a decent job nevertheless... good times.

Damn, even I tried to do my part in this. But I was way too inactive at the time...

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

I didn't drawl ball but I hegemonied like a son of a [bleep]

I finished making a password manager utility. Only made it because I wanted something very simple.

It's pretty neat:

The database itself is simple:

I haven't participated myself but one of my roommates from this year was a member of it and seemed to enjoy it. My dad also used to be a member a long time ago and he used to bring me to meetings with him occasionally but that was something like 14 years ago so I don't remember too much of it. I've only heard good things about it though.

Yeah literally know way more states off the top of my head than I did a year ago - 39/50

Bummed that I forgot Nevada (Vegas for goodness sake) and yeah I was even in NJ for New Years this year so I shouldn't have forgotten that one either

I'm from jersey and I'm not offended.

Toastmasters invited me to join but I didn't. I probably should have. Everyone I know that did join it ended up pretty successful.

Were you just naming states or did you have to point them out too? Good job on getting Wyoming and Colorado if you had to point them out.
lighviolet1lk4.jpg

I don't think I could even just 'name the states' without writing them down on a piece of paper and making sure I had all 50. I can write the names on the map no problem, but I feel like I'd forget something like Maine or Wisconsin if I had to just say them without counting.

“I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”

“Do you have any regrets?”

“I don’t. It seems surprising, I know, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is how it was meant to be.”

“Huh, you never really notice how lovely the day is until you realize you’ll never see it again.”

“Mmmhmm.”

Man, I can name all the states. There's only six, so I don't get what the problem is.

I can name all the states... But only because we had to learn an alphabetical song about all 50 states in 5th grade and it's stuck with me since then

I need to use you guys as a litmus test. Is it passive-aggressive to write a letter with "PLEASE BE MORE CONSIDERATEin handwritten all caps?

"Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art?

My blog here if you want to check out my Times articles and other writings! I always appreciate comments/feedback.

I can name most of the states. I know them all, but when I'm asked to list them I usually forget a couple.
