I had my first day of school yesterday. It was amazing. I haven't been so happy in a long time.

 

But today school was cancelled because of snow. I hate snow.

Over in this country we had a fiasco because kids were freezing cold in the schools the other week.

Today I got my diploma and coincidentally I got my real deal NASA badge with a chip and everything in it. 

 

Honestly though I should feel proud that I accomplished this so far but I just feel shitty still. I'm still living with my parents while I pay off debt (about 6 months left to go) and Im feeling impatient to move out. I have no confidence to use dating apps while living with my parents so I guess I got a few more months of meh until I can really be independent. 

I'm graduating soon and I'm in that limbo stage where I have no idea what the [bleep] I'm doing.

They cancelled schools here when it got into the low 30s because a lot of kids didn't own jackets

Today was basically a snow storm and they didn't even cancel school. Although to be fair it didn't start snowing really hard until the evening, but the roads were messy all day.

 

Not that cold out though, only -2 or so not accounting for windchill. (Temperature in non-freedom units)

Yeah but I think North Carolina has like two and a third salt trucks and maybe four snow plows plus some dude with a snow shovel so we're not really prepared for even a little snow.

We have 3 months of summer holidays in all schools so the temperature never gets that hot outside while school is on.

Everything visual is defined in the above stylesheet. Animations with names matching events are played when that event fires. Other animations can be played whenever.

 

I wanted to decouple widget rendering from widget logic without going overboard, and I think I handled it nicely. Some widgets, like text rendering ones, will require some custom drawing logic, but that's a given.

 

As an aside, I absolutely hate GUI stuff.
