champion
It's much more fun to get good grades and question/correct things your teacher says. It's fun to either become friends or enemies with a teacher on purpose. Agreed. Correcting teachers is very fun. Expecially when they argue it, but you still win.Me and two other kids in English got in an argument with the English teacher over what the correct spelling of "reenact" was. Guess who won. I'm guessing that the teacher thought it was renact?"Reinact."

Guest Mrmegakirby
Students at a local highschool had to frequently remind the music teacher the difference between a 1/4 and 1/8 note. For those who don't know what that means, it's fairly bloody important, and most novice musicians could tell you.

unkn0wnwarrior
Today, I went to work to see that, once again, my name was omitted from the daily schedule. But today was different. I had a relief person. Unfortunately, they found work for me. I went from straightening the top cookies on oreo sandwiches (lasted about 20-30 minutes) to filling a vat with chocolate (lasted 3 hours and contained 2 breaks of 30 minutes each) back to the first line again, but training to put the cookies into the machine as well. I think I would have been straightening cookies all day if not the the guy who was supposed to be watching the chocolate vat, though. He overflowed the vat, and there was a violent eruption of chocolate, and then took off never to be seen again. The chocolate flew AT LEAST 15 feet across the room and hit the outside of the next line over, got on the papers on the operator's desk and drenched boxes of sticks that were minding their own business nearby. Luckily, they had it almost cleaned up before I was sent over

Wongtong
While I was doing my homework, my mum walked into the room and asked me if I knew anyone called "nick...ata" (she meant Nikita). I said no and asked why. She told me to wait while she fetched something. She returned with a postcard with a love heart and writing underneath stating "Kia Ora" on one side. On the other side it stated: To NikitaUr a punkin and I don't like punkins, meaning, I don't like yu'u I mean seriously yu'u got [cabbage] on/in my car, and got [cabbage] on my gumbootsTWICE homo:| ARAH I'm so confused. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers! Skeptical
Oh okay. I misunderstood you then. I completely agree with you now, I also see many intelligent people that just get terrible grades because they realize how stupid the school system can be. It takes a lot of effort to actually get a lot out of public school, in most cases more effort than we really should provide. Homework, messing around with Ubuntu, and now watching The Big Bang Theory. Good day, altogether.DIE SHELDON DIE  He mentioned Ubuntu right at the end of the episode. <3: "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security." Speaking of school bands, mine had a trip to Hershey on Friday. The band, jazz band, choir AND jazz choir all got 10/10 in the competition there. All of them got first place except the choir, which got second. Yeah, we kicked [wagon]. Roses are red,Violets are blue. This line doesn't rhyme,And neither does this one. champion
I have been procrastinating so much lately, just since school is about to end. Will I stop? Doubt it. I also have this "student-led conference" thing we're required to do tomorrow showing our parents our grades and what we expect to do in the future and stuff. It's like they think my mom doesn't know my grades better than I do. -.- And it's monitored by a staff member, and it's supposed to be at least like 20 minutes long. Everyone seems to think that's easy, but I have no idea what to talk about really, I do fine in school and my parents know I'm planning on going to college. On the bright side, school lets out at 11 tomorrow and Thursday because of the conferences! I lettered in band, which was really simple. There are a lot of different ways to accumulate points (10 points = lettering), but the easiest way was to go to every home basketball game for pep band. That was only like 5 or 6 games. In band we go on a big trip every 2 years, and a smaller one every other year. I missed this year's (Orlando), but in 2 years it will be Hawaii, and next year we will likely go to Vancouver, B.C. None of this really pertains to today. Hm. Skeptical
Another essay. It's not that I mind them: I love choosing topics and then researching and building the paper. I just hate it when it's a literary essay, and I know that tens of thousands of other students are churning out the same useless garbage.
