July 2, 201016 yr Didn't post for yesterday so just went out for Canada day with family. Watched some fireworks, etc.I had to work last night, so I didn't do anything for Canada Day. But I get today off instead, so I'm going to sleep, eat and relax all day. Maybe go shopping or something later... maybe.
July 2, 201016 yr I called blizzard to recover my World of Warcraft account today. After holding on the phone for 1 hour and 23 minutes, I get a representative. Then, my dog jumps in my lap, resulting in me dropping the cell phone and ending the call RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. July 2, 201016 yr I take great pride in almost never whining, but damn, I reaaaaally don't want to go to work tonight. Mostly because people I'm trying to avoid have already planned on visiting me, and I don't want them there. Also, my brother visited today. July 3, 201016 yr The reason Ipods have less memory than advertised is not because of software they put on it (well maybe a tiny bit), it's because they advertise a "gigabyte" as (I believe) 1000 Megabytes, when in reality it is 1024 Megabytes. So your 120 GB Ipod has 120,000 Megabytes, which is actually only about 117GB. I'm not sure if they also say 1 MB is 1000 KB, and 1 KB is 1000 Bytes, but that's the general idea.
