I GOT A GRANT TODAY!

 

Here's a story. Fun fact: it's not fake (true story)

 

I was trying to log on to my college account, it kept on saying wrong password. Wtf? All my school passwords are the same. So I kept on trying to recover it, but I needed my SSN. Which I kept on entering. Oh. It was one number off. Idk.

 

So I finally after 2 hours get to the screen where I can reset my password. I figure I'll just make it my Runescape password, since I ONLY use my rs pw for rs. Then I get this message:

 

 

"The new password cannot be the same as the old password"

 

 

WTF! RAGE!!! 2 hours of my life wasted. Idk why I made it my rs password. ANYWAYS; digression time.

 

So I log in, check my email and see "Your financial aid results are in!" yh I already got denied. Or... Did I?

 

 

NOPE ! I received $3,000 from Mr. Obama himself :) $1,500 per semester. YUS!!!! And I can do a payment plan for the rest of the money. I am going to college after all :) Praise GOD. I had some doubts because of all these bills I have. And lately I've boughten a crap load of fast food and pointless items. Like multiple magic sets, an ab core 3000, pro bass fishing set. /reference

I went in to work to get my schedule for the next week and three buses pulled in as I did so I was drafted to help for the past hour. The head manager gave me a free lunch for helping out.

Well, I had my volume at max. Now my whole family is wondering wtf am I doing in my room. I think I'll say porn. That is, making it I mean.

 

 

 

Side note: I have another true story, this time though I won't hit the enter bar every other sentence.

 

I had $123.24 in my bank account. I get paid this friday. I was expecting mad moohlah. State Farm letter came in mail yesterday day. We open it. I owe $1,000 on July 29th. This is my one time insurance payment. Until Jan. Easily doable. My mom, freaks out. Calls state farm. They answer. She yells. lulz ensue. She gets them to do a monthly payment plan. Mom says once a month is the only way I can do it. Mom is stupid. Sam is making a chicken pattie. Sam doesn't pay attention. Mom asks sam for his debit card. Sam trusts his mom. Sam gives card. Mom says card to phone. Sam goes to work. Sam comes home. Sam wakes up today. Letter came in mail today. From state farm. Thank you for your $170.00 insurance payment. Sam freaks out. Sam remembers he only has $123.24 in his account. Sam goes upstairs. Sam opens up RBC checking. Sam sees a negative of $387.43. Sam freaks out. Sam calls mom a [bleep]. Sam gets in trouble. Sam goes to bank with apology check from mom for $150. Bank says "gf". lulz ensue. Lady at bank says "y forget." so Sam remembers. ONe month ago, sam recieved letter. IT said in letter. "sign up for overdraft protection." Mom freaked out. Called gov't liars. Mom develops paranoia complex. Sam trusted mom. Now bank lady gives me more lulz instead of lollipops. Sam is angry. Bank took out $50 in overdraft fees per pending item, + the cost of the item. Runescape membership cost $55. My brother used my debit for xbl purchase. That cost me $55. Sister stole my card for wendys. THat cost me $60. AND THE STATE FARM INSURANCE BILL IS NOW $230 !!!!!

 

Sam is sad. Sam cries. Sam was going to get a/c fixed this friday.

This. I actually tried to get a job at my friend's dad's restaurant. It felt really awkward, but it really works the same way in the more professional world. It's best to get used to using contacts to work your way up now.

 

Still haven't gotten the job; he said he's fully staffed but he'll definitely consider me once he gets an opening. And I know he's serious and not giving false hope like the other ~15 places I've tried, because he's seen how well I work since his daughter (said friend) was on my robotics team. It's great we went pretty far in the competition this year (read: semifinals at the world championship) :D

Hey guys. I'm back from camp... Well I've been back since Saturday, I've just been lurking for the past couple of days. Those three weeks I spent at camp was and will be one of the greatest times of my life. It was nice interacting with people my age who weren't complete idiots who only worries about what they want to do after school. :^_^:

Just got back from Iron Man 2.

 

Holy Christ, had a fun time, but not because of the movie. There was a HUGE mob of people there waiting to see the new Twilight movie. I don't mean people who like Twilight, those people I don't mind. These were the obsessed fangirls. (They showed up a 5 for a midnight opening.) I put on my troll face and went to work.

Oh my God my graphic design class is full of morons. There's this group of ~5 fat girls who run around the class room giggling and squealing, it's annoying as hell. And the 70-year-old teacher doesn't notice because he can't hear. Today one of the girls was playing some little-kid flash game online where you won by doing simple math problems. And she couldn't do them. She honestly was asking people around her what 7-2 and 1+3 were. She's a high-schooler. And whenever they run by my table they barge into the desk and knock all the papers off. 5 and a half more days....
