So yeah, my dad saw me using the [cabbage]ty half broken headphones with only one working side that I've been using since the pair of in-ear ones he bought me like 2 months ago broke. I thought he might be a little bit annoyed at me since I go through like 6 a year, but instead he grabbed me a pair of what looked like [cabbage]ty headphones that have turned out to be easily the best headphones I've ever used. The bass comes through really well and the sound is just amazingly clear overall.

 

[bleep]ing awesome. And I was going to spend the $50 my friend paid me back to get a fairly good pair.

 

Most great headphones never look very good - for example Grado headphones look like the sort of thing you'd see in WW2 but they're the bestselling dedicated hi-fi headphones in the world.

The thing is that they're a pair of like 5+ year old Panasonic headphones. Maybe even 10 years old. I can't imagine they cost more than $20 to begin with. But they're still surprisingly good.

Spent a lot of today doing nothing. Watched some of the World Cup, got bored with that really fast, and beat Portal. But I'm finally done with my stupid graphic design class, so I don't need to wake up at 5:30 anymore.

I might have to take my dog down to the vets today to be "put to sleep". I've had him for almost 15 years, he was like a brother to me but he has cancer through-out his body, arthritis is taking both back legs of his and hes unable to control his bowels now. ;____;

YEsterday me and three friends went to Costco and buy 3x36 cans of beer for a party. We figured 100+ cans of beer will be good for us and two other people coming. Then people got wind that six guys were going to chill in a backyard and drink beer all day so every hour two/three people would show up... WITH BEER. The tipping point, the "it's on" moment for the party, was when the host said "what are we going to do with all this beer?", so I cracked open a can and motioned for him to chug it, which he did. There were so many people when I finally finished taking care of business I had, and lots of them were underage. The host was FREAKING out because if cops were to show up, he'd get in lots of [cabbage] with the authority and the guy he's renting the house from. Right before cracking down on the kiddies one 17 year old took a stand on a picnic table and silences the party before shouting "EVERYBODY, I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT. I AM DRUNK!!! WOOOO", which was when the host smiled and cracked open another beer. I know it sounds like I just ripped off a movie plot or something but last night's party had everything, and was so epic.

Hah. When it's -27C/-16.6F and you have to bike to school, the sun rises at nine and sets at three, and there's nothing to do outside, I'd say that it sucks pretty hard.

Well it's a bit different in Finland, in fact today was the first time I've experienced a temperature over 30°C (outside I mean) in my life… 25°C is already very hot here. According to the news today is the warmest day in decades :blink:
