arimu
I'm wondering how hard the new grand-master quest will be, and in which way it will be hard. #-o Loads of high-lvled monsters? :ohnoes: High skill requirements? :-# A very long quest which will take 10 hours of playing to complete? :wall: Very hard puzzles? Oh, I want that quest now and here! Oh and the other updates aren't bad at all :D
michel555555
woot finally a decent quest!!!! better start power training rc and agil :wall: aw man going to have to wait till next year for phoenix  [spoiler=click you know you wanna]Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!
dark1wraith
But what of the pure skillers? Can you create equipment for your battling buddies while they defend your back? sounds like the pures are still gunna get owned. but it sounds very promising and potentially fun. The quest sounds beyond awesome =P~ Lucen or perhaps another Marrijhit might become a god using the staff of Armydl combined with the stone of jaz as a power source. When Zamorack turned into a god, Zaros was the power source. turkeys sound fun too lol, maybe a turkey suit  (i hope not, we already have a chicken suit) The Phoenix-awesome, but why announce it so early? I bet it has some kind of firemaking reward and i hope that it brings something new and useful to firemaking, a skill with quite limited uses. Mobilising Armies - i bet they release it, then find that it's not balanced and change it again lol.
Serpent Eye
Oh, quit being immature little children about it. Since when has Thanksgiving in the real world been a problem to you in the real world if you don't celebrate it? If you don't want to go hunt turkeys then don't. Stop acting like children about it. If Jagex wants to release a small Thanksgiving event then it's their choice. Let them. Quite frankly, you have no say in it, really. And really, it makes sense, anyway. A VERY large portion of the people who play Runescape are from North America anyway, so what's the deal? Maybe next time Jagex wants to spread some holiday cheer to it's players they should just forget about it since 10 year old-minded players like you people will be offended. Grow up. =D> --- As far as the November Behind The Scenes goes, the only thing I'm not really interested in is Mobilising Armies. Other than that, everything else sounds really exciting, and I'm looking forward to it!
Grogthurk
they really didn't say anything we didn't know. Still, i hope its a good month!
Perakp
With the added ability to fight as a clan, battles can be organised for very specific groups of players. So, if you want to gather with your clan buddies to take on your enemies, you will be able to. This is the part I'm most excited about, because it is possible they give this option to other minigames aswell. Castle wars to be more specific. Sounds like a good month. Rosanante1
Here's my input: 1. Not a big fan of minigames or clans but it sounds interesdting enough to investigate. 2. Thanksgiving; ya, whatever. I'm English and I understand the holiday. Perhaps Guy Faulks night could be an opportunity to educate those who don't know what it's all about. Everyone's seen fireworks right? Fireworks FTW! 3. GRANDMASTER QUEST; what's a grandmaster? high skills? high QP? I'm intirgued, but my theory is a series of quests leading up to number 150 as a kind of grand finale (hopefully with fireworks lol). Just ran up the 'slippery steps' and had a scout about in the lair place with the anvils and dragon heads. The tracts on the floor run out of the forge and into the wall and there seems to be solidified metal - not sure what colour it represents though - blurite or even adamantite. Could be mithril as the dragons are stomping about upstairs. Looks like an interesting month. Hope I have the levels to go for the quest though..... Still the proud owner of Quest Cape since 8th December 2007All skills used to be 70 or higher. (Dang you Dungeoneering. Oh wait, it's not a skill...)Drops: Whips 8, Black Mask 8, D/Skirt 1, D/Spear 1, D/Shield Left Half 1, D/Boots 12, G/Maul 4, Range Ammy 1, Hexcrest 1. jessy87
W00t wandering Turkeys (Jagex bringing religion to the game? #-o ) \ Oh, you must never have learned what thanksgiving was. See, Christmas celebrates jesus's birth. Easter celebrates his resurrection. Now, halloween can be linked to pagan's and wicken's to i believe. I am not entirely certain. But thanksgiving, not at all about religion

Ravenkana
But thanksgiving, not at all about religion Isn't it the pilgrims celebrating their passing through the harsh winters?Contrary to popular belief, no. It was started by one of the early Presidents, Washington I believe, to celebrate all the natural wealth of the U.S. Later, in the mid 1800s it was dropped, but was resurrected later and stands as it does today. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
mervinator_9
Time to get members and start training for Grand master quest, so cant wait, Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Nenga
I hate to say it, but I was right!!! I predicted that the dragonkin were coming. Yay for me. \ Looking at the picture of the new room in the mithril cavern I'm reminded of this: If you have trouble with us lowly dragons, you have BIG trouble with Kin. They return soon; we feel power growing, calling to us, calling to them... The very weapons that make you strong bring Kin's return ever closer. Maybe the dragonkin possibly? New quest with bob (the cat)? Anyway besides the quest the other ones don't sound interesting. Ponies!

captainpoet
I agree with some of the previous posters that it is a bit uncalled for Runescape to have a Thanksgiving event. Don't get me wrong I'm from America, but Runescape came from England, and so I think it'd be more convenient if they had an event for Guy Faulks (intentionally mispelled to avoid the censors.) I mean seriously it is a holiday for a well known concept internationally, and even more well known due to the movie V for Vendetta. As for Stealing Creation I anticipate it. I can see myself very easily skilling to make some good gear, and hiring "bodyguards" but not giving them the best stuff I can make, and then turning around and killing them with my best  The Grandmaster Quest will be pretty amazing I think. If I recall correctly Expert is one under Master (of which RFD is master) and Summers End was only an Expert level quest. So a quest with a difficulty level two levels higher than that should be pretty awesome. I may actually have to skill train to do a quest for the first time in a year lol

I may actually have to skill train to do a quest for the first time in a year lol I have no doubt this new grandmaster quest will be very difficult, but really, Jagex's quest ratings are nothing to go by. For example you have "Catapult Construction" and "Roving Elves" listed under master quests. While they do have some pretty difficult quests as prerequisites, they aren't really that hard themselves. Summer's end should have been a master quest, but the reason it wasn't I think was simply because of the low reqs...
