Perhaps you need to smelt them along with a Dragon Chainbody in the Dragon Forge?

I fulfill all requirements for the quest but will probably leave it until the weekend to do. Should have 99 attack then and it will be a nice reward for getting that.

weight thing is simple you look at your weight without weights the thermometre then if its 47T and you weight 43KG you put on 4kg and walk out

Personally I don't think the quest reward will be to wear the drgon plate and claws, but rather to be able to kill the monster that drops the parts for the dragon platebody. I'm thinking maybe you get a dragon plate which isnt completed as a reward for the quest, then you have to attach the three pieces via 99 smithing (or assist), to make a full dragon platebody. The reason why the ability to wear a dragon plate won't be the reward, is because there is no quest requirement to weild it under the skills tab in game, unlike the dragon sq sheild.
