I seriously hope the reward is a dragon plate or some other useless thing, that way I wont have to do them all :? Oh well let's hope for a nice quest. All I know is that d plate is degradable... or not, most likely it isn't degradable. But smithing it is impossible, so you get a broken one and fix it with 99 smith.
