Tim_Finch
This quest was the most fun I've had on Runescape in years. And with the characters teleporting you everywhere, all the time was spent solving puzzles rather than running around. Took a good 6 hours or so, I wish I could do it over again. I sold the dragon slice for 13m! And some people told me they were unsellable now :P Don't care how much the elite black and Dagon'Hai robes sell for, I'm keeping those. 10/10 for the content and rewards, I must've taken at least 40 screenshots. Atroxide
I think the reason the pieces are so common is because they are trying to get it to keep it at 30mil worth. I think when ever it gets under 30mil, they will reduce the drop ratio. Pretty much price manipulation (which isn't a bad thing if they started from the beginning like they are)
cat666
Sometimes world 2 scares me. Any idea what these guys are using as junk? I don't really see much reason to keep this useless armour. Yeah no reason at all to keep an armour set that is black but has stats comparable to rune and looks really awesome...Yes, exactly. I might as well sell it and buy barrows armour, or maybe even bandos. The elite black armour doesn't even look that great. Lol you beat me to it. The armour is pants effectively, just a black version of rune. Looks are for noobs, it's stats most people care about and there is no real reason to keep this pile of junk unless the next big quest requires it. I sold mine for max (250k) as I couldn't be bothered making loads of junk. I will buy it back once all the hype has died down, just for the possibility of needing it for the next quest. The item will drop in price. People can only do the quest once, and once people realise that Barrows is still better (why wouldn't it be) then they will sell the elite. However there won't be a market for it then, as most people will have done the quest and rune is still better than Elite (and a lot cheaper). So they will sell mid price on GE. If you are savvy and rich you can then horde sets until the next part of the quest (I'm guessing quest #150) and use the time in between to make a load of junk which you can then make a killing from in the new quest. However it's a bit too much hassle for me, and I like helping others not shafting them. Trust the Gene Genie!

lordkafei
I've seen some comments about Movario's stockpile of runes/coal/mage logs. I took the runes out during the quest, as I had a backpack space. But the mage logs have been in the back of my mind. I am thinking of going back and just burning the logs on the spot for fm xp. Or I may try to send logs back with some of the imp boxes I have piled up. But I cannot leave these logs there, unclaimed. EDIT - the imp can't send items back from inside Movario's lair; the block on teleporting seems to have affected the imps as well. So you have to go back out to the Elite Khazard guards and send the logs back from there, then go back to the lair and do more logs. Cumbersome. I thought using imps might speed things up, but it seems it's just quicker to fill up and teleport from the Elite Khazard guards area. I tried using a hammer on the broken furnace with a steel & iron bar in my pack; nothing happened. You could also bring 25 mithril ores and 25 nature runes and superheat them on the spot with the coal and fire runes. Along with a tinderbox to burn the magic logs and the 100 death runes, it seems like a good amount of experience.

lordkafei
Eh I just figured out the weights of the coal and logs and loaded the statue. The weights in the Tip.it database are a good starting point for estimating, but I found coal to be more like 2.29 kg. The mage logs are indeed 2kg each. tintin113
My mate told me that "RS economists say the plate will go to 60-70m, so he has some time to get the quest done and sell off the lump before then." Well the peices are already unsellable and the D plate isn't going for max.
