February 12, 200917 yr Way back in 2006 i told myself that i wanted 99 woodcutting. I was a noob and didn't play that much but i got from 62-94 before i stopped. later on in 2007, after i started to play runescape more seriously, i set out for 99 hunter. At this point i played runescape very efficiently and competitively and achieved 99 in 3 weeks 4 days. it was in the summer so i had no problem no-lifing and i gained 54 levels from 45-99 hunter. I also made a sweet 35m. my second 99, fletching, happened in one long grind. Sep 30-oct 24. getting level 98 and 99 in the same day. :) I then finished my first goal of 99 wc in december of 2007. It took from Nov 30- Dec 12. 4th 99, cooking, came the following summer in another 1 week grind. Aug 3-8. I gained 3m+ xp a few days. there is some spiroff history i guess. I went off topic but had fun.
February 12, 200917 yr Currently looking at Smithing as my first 99 as it's rare for an f2p. It's taken me a while an I've worked out a method to do it with as little loss of GP as possible. Currently at 96 & about 3m more XP to go. Have 6m GP so technically I've go the money for it but it's still taking a while with GE trade limits. .

February 12, 200917 yr My first attempt at a 99 was fishing waaaaaaaaaaay back in classic when, if your inventory was full, the fish would just deposit on the floor and you could fish indefinately. I got to lvl 95 which was a very decent achievement back then when I got bored and being the stupid teenager that I was at the time, made the poor choice of macroing the rest. I'd had the macro on for 3 hours when I got caught and banned. I had to hold back the tears IRL. Never again! My only attempt at a 99 was range. I ended up getting it after 5 or so months. Though it took ages and I know a lot of other people have 99 in the skill, I'm proud to have it . Of all the 99s I have gotten on various characters throughout my playing career, Range is the most recent and by far the most satisfying. It's opened up so many doors that were previously closed to me in RS and I recommend it to anyone who's unsure what 99 to go for, especially for a first 99. The stars are matter, we're matter, but it doesn't matter.-Don Van Vliet

Winged Fish on a RWT complaint- There's four complaints on the whole site, one from a mother who was convinced by her son that the RWTers she was buying him items from were from Jagex (and then got scammed and is taking it out on Jagex), two people complaining about having their accounts taken away, and one ranting on the trade restrictions and wilderness removal. February 13, 200917 yr My first 99 attempt was cooking! got from 77-99 in 6 days!.. No problem No-lifing as i was resting at home after having my apendix out! so even back then my mum couldnt complain about me not doing anything! 2nd 99 goal really was a treck for me, i did alot of slayer and got 90 strength and seeing that 9 wanted it doubled and god know how long after i got it! 99 Attack on the other hand just really came out of nowhere. Then for my final 99 i Pc'd from 96-99 Hp wanting a new cape. Simple as that lol...To this day i still love my Cooking cape. That was my first 99 and the most fun i think i'v had getting on rs! February 13, 200917 yr Cooking. I one day realized that the release of "cook-X" and the bank in the cooking guild (literally two steps away from a range) made it easy as pie, so I decided to go for it. Got it very quickly, watching movies on my PC because I only had to do a cople of clicks per load of fish. My real goal is 99 attack, which will take a LONG time as I don't play that much (damn real life), but since cooking was so easy I decided to do it first so that my first Cape of "real" Accomplishment (no matter how long it will take me to get it) will be trimmed right from the start :geek:
