I'll be playing COD: MW2 and it will play fine for the first game then for the second I'll get a message along the lines of:"Game error Disc cannot be read. 1. Clean disc with a clean cloth2. Restart console For more help go to:http://xbox.com/support" Anyway I've done this numerous times and it keeps happening. I've tried another game and it happened again, BUT the weird thing is, I'll put in Halo 2 and it won't happen. I though it was overheating, but I got it into better ventilation, now I'm thinking that it's the reader in the Xbox. Has anyone else had this problem? If so can you tell me what you did you fix it, if you haven't can you give me some suggestions? ThanksMy Mass Effect 2 does this, except I can't even install it to my hard drive because it tells me it's unreadable there too, so try installing it, if that doesn't work just go get a replacement or refund. I got it for Xmas so IDK if they'd take it back, also it doesn't look like it has any scratches EDIT: Sara, add me on XBLYeah my disc looks peefect too, I got mine from ebay new and sealed, so I've contacted the guy and he's agreed to give me a refund. It's honestly not that bad. In my time playing (granted it's only 16 hours...) I've come across 2 aimbotters and never had any trouble with glitchers either. Boosters also seem to be non-existant. Like guys caging on Cod4 for golden guns. Like you've spent ages getting that gold 10th prestige sign by getting 1k AC-130 kills and then some little 10 year old booster in the lobby has it without doing anything. I didn't really care about the CP glitching and stuff, but its the stuff that builds up over time like challenges and prestiges that piss me off. I just pointed out that its pretty sad that the guy who created this thread is a booster, who hilariously got done for a year's worth of live trying to 10th prestige gltich, and then had previously written as a note on the thread something like "Rumour of 10th prestige being reset?" Just hit 25% accuracy! Finally! Nice. I had like I think 21-22% accuracy on cod4, only about 18% on MW2. Runescape had botters and RWT's. That ruined the game for us because it affected us. If he even did glitch/hack those titles that doesn't ruin or affect your gameplay in any way at all. Infinity Ward will just develop software to combat these problems. In the end that only affects us in a positive way. I don't say I approve of it, and whenever I see a hacker I tell them their losers, but nothing more than that. Why? Aside from the fact that no dedicated servers is balls (because the host can easily throttle his or her internet connection and lag everyone but him.) the game is laggy, full of cheaters, pirates can play on the official servers for free (which means that if you somehow on a rare chance get banned you just make a new account and pirate the game) and to be honest I just think it's an unbalanced game. I played three games with the group and cleaned house. First map (termnal) went 30-7 (Got a AC-130 :thumbup: ) Second map was karachi and was able to get my pave-low out (Went 30-16) Last one was Skidrow. Cleaned house and went 30-10. I dont know if they were trying or not, but I felt so happy laving there. had a awesome time and made some good friends.
