Things you're afraid of.

Featured Replies

Anything anyone here is afraid of? Anything that creeps you out, makes you shiver, and things that you just can't stand because you're so afraid of them?

Personally I can't stand ants, If I see a decently large ant I get all shaky and have to walk at least 5 feet away from it.

So, what are you biggest fears?

I did a search and there were a couple topics on fears already, but they were from a while back, so I felt this could possibly deserve to be remade, if you mods feel the need to lock it go ahead.

Injections. I don't quite know how to explain it, but I would rather slice a knotch in my arm than receive an injection...

This might sound crazy but...

In my hs we have posters that hang (mostly around the foreign language hallway) off the walls. Some posters are only taped at the top, and when you walk past them, the bottom flies up.

Well, I'm afraid that one day someone in front of me will walk past one, the bottom will fly up to my neck level, and cut my jugular vein as I walk past it.

:boohoo: I'm not joking.

Bugs with lots of legs. I don't mind most spiders, but when I see a big, hairy one/centipede with 9002 legs I'm grossed the [bleep] out.

I have that EXACT same fear :o When I'm walking down the hallways I have to move towards the center of the hall when I near a poster. I'm extremely paranoid of papercuts in general.

Don't really have many other physical fears, but I have a lot of social fears that bother me every day.

Heights. I'm fine in airplanes but I feel like I might die at the very top of a roller coaster. *shudders*

You fear the 3rd dimension?

Heights, snakes, and I would say clowns but they make me more angry than scared. Everytime I see one I just want to punch him/her/it through a brick wall.

If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.

WHAT?! THAT'S OVER 9000 LEGS!

I'm afraid of all types of insects, and dying.

I used to be afraid of silly things like aliens and ghosts, just the thought of them being real and having things watch me freaked me out, but not so much anymore. But basically I used to be scared of the dark.

I don't think I'm afraid of much nowadays, nothing I can think of anyways.

NVM, I just remembered. I have a slight fear of birds, they look scary. Especially pea[roosters] >_<

I'm afraid of the ocean. Don't get me wrong, I love going to the beach and I love the pool to death, and being on a boat is great an all. But if I'm in the ocean and my feet can't touch the bottom, [cabbage]'s going to hit the fan.

But the forest is your friend, you hurt its feelings. Now go give it a hug.

I'm not afraid of much, but I can say height to a certain extent. I don't mind going to high places, but there's always the small fear of falling.

Heights, bugs, the dark, loud noises when im alone, creaky houses when im alone, anything slimy. Im a man of many fears.

I know, the same as me. I'm also kind of scared by any large bodies of water. And especially when its dark. Going to the deep end in a pool at nightime will scare the jumping jehovah out of me.

I'm not really afraid of anything in specific, but when the train passes the area of Amsterdam that has a lot of light rail tracks with a bright yellow third rail, I'd rather not look out the window.

Whatever evil things I saw in a horror movie within the past week.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

any new song released by soldier boy, the dark, the unknown, religion :ohnoes:

i am afraid of the idea of a family (i like families, just the thought of me starting a family scares me.)

heights (i can do planes, rollercoasters, and such...i cant stand standing on a high ledge and all thats there is a railing. nah mean? like the ledges in an embassy suites, or that giant overlook at niagra falls. also, wall sized windows in high floors at hotels are kind of scary.)

fear death. since life after death is unknown it is even more scarier.

99 Fishing

Big, shiny insects.

Only fear God,

Know the weapons of the weak,

The weakness of the hard.

It used to be the dark a year back but not I'm not so afraid. I still have to shine my iPod's light on the darker area of my room to make sure there aren't any monsters but I can still sleep at night.

The future. :ohnoes: Where am I going to end up? I'll lose my sense of security once I venture out into the bigger things like university and getting a job. Makes me want to stay in college forever :(.
