Do you sell all your items at lowest and buy all your items at highest? Or do you do your research to find what price will be best?

 

Or do you just put it at mid price, and wait for it to come in?

Same. If there's a better offer already in there I'll get change (if buying) or more money (if selling) anyway. If it doesn't complete right away, at least this will make it sell/buy as fast as possible.

Depends. If I only need one of a particular item, and it's relatively cheap, then I'm not going to wait for mid price to complete. If I'm selling 20 whips, I'll definitely not settle for sub-mid price. Unless I know the item is going to crash big time.

The GE is about patience.

 

 

 

Items worth more then 300k all together I always check the charts to see whats going on.

 

Anything under 300k I either sell at minimum or try to buy for max.

If I want a quick buy or sell, then yeah. But if I'm looking to make some good money, then I'll find a better price.

Yes, I'm pretty lazy. If the item is pretty valuable though, I tend to be more careful.

Yep! Lazy bugger here, too. Usually I'd finish my Slayer task and sell whatever I got on the lowest price so I could get get another assignment. If someone doesn't buy on mid-price I just max it and hopefully get it. =P~

Guilty. I almost always sell my items at lowest and buy items at highest.

 

Because if I put it at med and it doesn't sell/buy then I have to take it out and then put it in at a new price again.

Normally when selling I don't need the money at that moment (or more to the point don't care if it sells right away), so I use the average. Sometimes I tweak the price if the items rising or falling alot to compensate (if the item is skyrocketing, chances are you can sell it near or at max). Buying, I normally pick a price between average and max that I think will buy fairly fast. This nromally involves rounding prices up to the nearest 50, 100, or 1000, because most people would sell (without the GE, and many people still do this on the GE too) items as multiples of 10, with a few exceptions (generaly cheep items are more likely to be traded as weird prices, even pre GE).

Yup I'm guilty of being lazy. I sell low and buy high. I just want it to be as quick and painless as possible.

Only exception is if I'm going to buy something extremely expensive, or if I'm buying a ton of stuff (like bones to get 99 prayer)

I have bookmarks for a lot of prices and keep track of them, but when it comes to worthless items, like a warrior helm, I just sell it at lowest - I need the extra space to put up buy offers at lowest or sell offers at highest
