June 16, 200917 yr You're not paying for the clothing, you're paying for the label. Deio has a point, I've had the same T-Shirts for 2 years now, they were about 3 for £10. The design has faded, but they are still functional. I buy my jeans for about £6-8 each. They last a few months, then I need a new pair, normally. Please, tell me why I should pay up to £100 on a pair of jeans, just because of a label, that won't last for 10* the amount of time my current ones do. I guess you're shopping at the wrong stores? I know quite a few that I've purchased and they've lasted years. Mainly J. Crew, Northface and Banana Republic.Also, it totally depends on the brand. Brands like Abercrombie may last less than Target brand stuff, but some Levi's high-end stuff (Levi's Vintage Collection jeans go for $210 a pair) will be passed on to your children.
