The words meet and old might also point towards a Meeting History sequel.

If its an elvern quest it'd be one before MEP3 possibly bringing in something else to the quest line, as MEP3 just isn't ready.

I don't know if me3 is not ready...

But keep in mind, it is also quest 159... 100 quests after Regicide, THE quest that opened the elven lands....

This idea has my offcial seal of approval. :thumbup:

A mix would be totally awesome, and provide us the required information about the elves before entering the elven city.

 

A mod *needs citation* said that there was at least one more quest before the elven city will go open.

 

I guess we need to know more before entering the elven city.

And what are we supposed to do in the elven lands? There is not much I can think of.

 

They said in the early 2009 q&a they've tried a small elven quest (catapult construction) and that it was no success, and that they wanted a good quests, what would full fill people's expectations.

So I think it will be a good quests, in an area I cannot think of any new possibilities. So I love the meeting elven history thingy!

 

As for a regicide- or Me2- sequel... It is one quest-line, did I miss something that these two quests are different and need a separate sequel?!

I think we're speculating a bit too much right now. I imagine it's going to be an information quest and maybe an add on the Curse of Arrav series. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

I think Jagex is giving a nice vague hint like that to raise speculation when in fact it's just this years Halloween quest.

Old friends seemed to me like the group of people who fought Lucien but I doubt it's a sequel to that. :P

I was thinking the people from Meeting History. They'd be quite old by now right? ;)

 

That would be quite impossible in the present, seeing as you meet them several ages before ours. They're all quite dead by now.

The living rock cavern had 3 ...'s and that wasnt a quest.

I thought the ...'s had something to do with quest hints, but it seemed to only be a coincidence since i found a few quest hints that didnt have the dots aswell.

West is either Ardongue and Zaros (possible new 80+ prayers which Jagex have said they're making)

 

or

 

Elves and possible Elvish prayers? Who knows, we might even get the Crystal Halberd we've been waiting for.

I'd love to know how you can even consider this update to be with Zaros, considering his empire was in the east.. But whilst we're at it lets just shout out any more random ideas that sound cool.
