March 3, 201016 yr I would suggest because of the down time, they are adding more chat features to the servers, I seem to remember down time when clan chat was launched, so with the hint, I have to assume that it's this.
March 3, 201016 yr weve entered the critical 30 minutes, if it doesnt come within these 30 min then its probably not going to be released today (or even this week) How so? They still have over 2 hours in normal office hours (until 5pm).

Most updates are 3pm - 4pm, but they often also push towards 5pm as well. And Jmods have said they don't rule out updating til 5pm passes, as there is only an hour of the working day left. Maybe the lower level grunts of Jagex can cash in with some overtime today...It has been stated that they will be on overtime and it's not even 5pm. When normal UK working hours end, 13 more minutes to go. Hit me up on LastFM to see my music taste and chat :)

March 8, 201016 yr I honestly don't care about bonus xp weekend and won't be participating whatever happened to normal xp weekends
March 8, 201016 yr I honestly don't care about bonus xp weekend and won't be participating whatever happened to normal xp weekends I feel the same way but i am going to take advantage of it by one buying some items i have wanted but didnt want to pay full price for and i have a bunch of DIY herbs im going to try and get from 70 to 75 herblaw out of. So even though i think this whole bonus weekend thing is totally bogus i will use it. But i hope they never do this kind of thing again. http://www.clanhavok.net/
March 9, 201016 yr My only real problem with this weekend is that it's only on the weekend. They should just give everyone 10 hours of bonus experience. It's not fair that people that can't play on this weekend miss out. Otherwise...I think everyone is being a bit self-righteous and there are probably quite a few people who are complaining that will still sneak on and play. Not everyone, but still... Not everyone, but still...Well it is meant to be a community event. When everyone can do it at any time its hardly a community event as no one will do it at the same time. I do think that this is a good initiative on Jagex' part they should just have only included DIY skills like fishing, mining, rcing, etc. Maybe next time :)

I still think just allowing the first ten hours of log in at any time would result in a large amount of people taking part...as it is, there are planned boycotts (although as previously mentioned, that won't prevent those same people from making money this weekend). March 9, 201016 yr I don't mind if people boycott the week end for ideological issues. It means I will either reduce the gap between higher lvl players or the opposite with lower lvl players. It also means a lot of trainning spots are gonna be somewhat clear. March 9, 201016 yr I don't like the concept of the double XP weekend. However, I'm still going to take part, simply because if I don't, I'm missing out on a great opportunity.

It also means a lot of trainning spots are gonna be somewhat clear. Exactly. Hunting and Mining will be crowded, but less so, if there are boycotters. Still crowded tbs, but not as bad as it could be. One thing to remember, DO NOT visit the circus until this weekend and then make that one of the first things you do...that agility bonus and mage and range bonus is excellent for not much time spent. Also, I plan on having a round of trees and bushes to check the health on and then replant them and log out after the circus and a farming round. It will save my time (since it's not consecutive hours and only logged in game time) and allow me two rounds of good planting. For me, everything else will be runecrafting, smithing, construction, herblore, or fletching. Mostly smithing, tbh.
