DragonPurse
I'm doing my slayer quest but as always i get pretty bored so i start chatting to my fellow players doing the same task. The high lvl just plain ignores me like I didn't exist, I ask him why he ignores me. After a while he answer: You're low level, I don't talk to noobs. Now would someone please tell me why they feel so superior :? All I want is a nice chatting so I don't get bored and I just get plain ignored because of my level -.-
Kiriyama
You're a low level noob. You don't deserve to post a topic. Anyway, just ignore him, the majority of us are pretty good people, though some do not like to talk. Since he did not reply, you should not have chased the subject. Easier just to talk to people on your friends list. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
hobonumber1
I dont think he should only talk to people on his friend's list. Part of the game is to meet new people and friends. I do think he was just an idiot. And Sword is right, most of the people are pretty nice. Here's a tip, stick to W99 so theres more chance that the high-lvls will be Tipiters hehe. Juhnie
Superiority complex, says I. Don't let this idiot let you down, there are nice high-levels (and low-/mid-levels) too. : Master of Attack ~ August 29th, 2010Proud to have served the awesome Tip.It Crew <

kingbrooks
Your a low level, I don't talk to noobs. At higher levels players start getting more hardcore about their skills. Grogthurk
Once I hit 100 combat I vowed to never to speak to anyone again. I earned it. Just kidding, I know exactly what you mean. In fact, I try to talk to people who share the same task with me, if it isn't a difficult one.
Munzen
Your reading too much into it, he was probably just busy.... Besides is he really worth talking to if he ignores you...or is he really worth taking the time out of your day to make an entire topic over him. Bauke
The reason behind high levels ignoring you is the fact that it is pretty much impossible to NOT ignore the lower levels. The crap you get when you just want to play like everyone else is unbelievable. I'm all for a decent conversation, but experience tells me it's better to just ignore everyone, instead of trying. I'm fed up with [developmentally delayed]ed low levels who think I'm a walking guidebook, or think I should become their friend, or need to do my emote a hundred times in a row or whatever the crap is they come up with. Higher levels with an attidude? It's the lower levels that usually look upon you like you're some sort of god. Seriously, just let me play like everyone else please? So I'd like to take this opportunity to say [bleep] you to all those morons. And my apologies for the lower levels who actually have a brain. Oh, there are plenty of high level idiots around as well, but usually they're less interested in interviewing you about every single thing you do in the game. Kazel
His head was obviously far too inflated. "Check meh oot, I haz pixlz, I r pwnz u narbz." adam12055
They got to high levels by being straight forward and on-task, the fastest way to play is to not talk to anyone, and leave your private chat off. Sorry to say, but people don't want to talk in this game if they don't have anything to gain from it. __
Makoto_the_Phoenix
Sorry to say, but people don't want to talk in this game if they don't have anything to gain from it. I have more to gain from talking to players than I have to lose, but I'll occasionally keep to myself if I'm trying to rush through something; only have on average 7 hours every week to play, and I like to get as much out of it as I can. Yes, for those that have done the math, that means I play a grand total of 1 hour a day, on average. That ain't a lot of time. I also think that the guy you dealt with was a bit of a jerk. Ignore him and move on. It's much, much simpler that way. If you don't want to get bored, or are interested in some conversation (not necessarily stimulating), try some of the more popular clan chats out there. You can usually find a decent conversation and it makes the time fly by. langer
Some of these conversations with lower level players tend to end up like this... Someplayer: Can i borrow GS...Whip... help me with X quest. I will talk to them, but will probably put them on ignore once these request starts... langer
Requests generally ruin any friendship that hasent been for a few months. Indeed. The thing is, if the OP is intitled to post a rant based on a generalization, then these high levels that will react to him this way are maybe doing this out of previous encounters that turned bad...hence generalizing too. Seriously, if you really get bothered by some stuck-up snob, you shouldn't be on the internet. You're TOTALLY missing the point, I'm ranting about the fact people call you a noob based on your level without even knowing you. Most people go like: you're lower level than me thus you're a noob. It's like a barrier where there's the 'elite' which feel too great to talk to you and the others ... like you said snobs. Granted there's a lot of noobs who just live to annoy you, but they got to understand there's still nice people besides high levels :
