So... You're saying that it IS worth a watch?

If you like his other movies, definitely yes. But if you don't, then you might be a little bored.

Last saw District 9, awesome movie.

Just starting to watch Knowing atm, though I don't really have high hopes for it (never read any reviews for it though, so it could be good).

The disaster scenes are epic in the cinema, but yeah the rest of the movie is pretty rubbish.

Yep, it was a piece of [cabbage]e.

Though it helped whittle away the wee hours of night. Ending was terrible though.

Interesting, I was going to see it, but now I'm thinking I might give it a miss. Or, if it ends up at the Drive-In as a double-feature I'll see it there..

I saw about 20 minutes of Police Academy.

I love you Man...this might be the funniest movie I've seen in years...wife and I were laughing almost constantly the whole time.

Drive-in this weekend:

Whiteout- It really wasn't as good as I had hoped. 6/10

The Final Destination- It was alright, nothing too great. 7/10

Two others I have watched just for something to do:

The Bourne Identity- I like it, but it isn't a favourite. 8/10

The Bourne Supremacy- Same as the first. 8/10

I saw Dead Snow (or Død Snø in Norwegian) yesterday. A very entertaining zombie-nazi splatter movie. The zombies looked surprisingly realistic.

Yesterday one of my movie dreams came true. Cassavetes on the big screen. Not one movie, not two, but three! We saw Gloria, A Woman Under the Influence and his last film Love Streams. I only saw AWUtI before, and it's one of my favorite movies, so that was a pleasure. Love Streams was the most powerful. But all three movies brought me to tears at random points because of their (tragic) beauty. It was a wonderful experience. Next weeks I hope to see Faces, The Killing of a Chinese Bookie and Opening Night in cinema.
