What movie(s) did you last see?

Wild Hogs

It's actually not that bad for a movie with Tim Allen in it.

That one was pretty good.

  • I haven't finished it yet, but started watching Forrest Gump...now I understand the line "Run, Forrest, Run!" at least <_<.

  • I watched Ghostbusters last night. Funny movie for those who haven't seen it.

The Blues Brothers... Considering it was a VHS nearing 30 years old it was decent quality (lolz a VHS on a 40" HDTV fail.). Movie gets 9/10, personally I find it a bit excessive in the profanity department. Watched it for the first time last night.

In the past week I've also watched bits and pieces of various Harry Potter movies.

The Battle of the Bulge (1965). Good, but overlong. After 2 and a 1/2 hours you start to get a little bored of Panzers rolling over hills. I was impressed with the action scenes for such an old film, and it must have cost a fortune for so many tanks.

The Matrix Trilogy.

Had seen the first one before, really wish i hadn't watched the sequels as they basically rape the first one.

Highway scene in the second was good though.

GI JOE

It was decent at best.

But about half the movie was flashbacks.

Went to Amsterdam last night for the pre-premiere of the controversial new Lars von Trier movie Antichrist I can see why it's so controversial, but those things didn't do me much. All in all I find it quite hard to say something about the movie, since I missed some parts because I was very tired and also because I missed like 50% of the symbolism. What I saw and understood was good, though. But I have to see it again.

Burn After Reading For the second time, this time on DVD. It's more depressing than funny, which is a shame in my opinion. Still some good stuff of course. John Malkovich is pretty awesome here. 7.5/10

I honestly can't think of why Burn After Reading is a good movie, despite everyone I know saying it is. Anyone care to explain it to me?

On topic, Last movie I saw was The Boat that Rocked. An enjoyable movie which would have been improved had they not focused on the sex as much. But for what I expected I was pleasantly suprised.

Man I haven't made a post in here in forever... and I've watched a [cabbage] load of movies/TV lately.

Extract - Mike Judge, Mila Kunis, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, need I say more? OK, I will a bit. Not quite as funny as Office Space, but better than Idiocracy. They all have that same sort of feel to them where they aren't laugh out loud funny but are still enjoyable.

Blood: The Last Vampire - I haven't watched a movie that I didn't like in a long while, so this was a bit of a shock. It was pretty bad. Cliches abound in it, and not in a good way. The acting left much to be desired. It wasn't even good as a mindless action flick.
