lol usually a race takes 2 people...does he know hes "racing you". Thats a cool thing when your setting up to try and keep pace or go faster lol buts its alot different then being able to say you wont or are winning in a race considering the other person isnt even racing..nice job on the xp but still..just sayin

That's a bit biased, taking tips on how jagex runs their polls kaida? So I'll add this- like this post if you don't want it changed.     Just playing devils advocate.

  • There will obviously be a huge arena, just like the Colosseum in italy, and server with a capasity to hold 10k players, then, suomi is in the middle of the arena, 10k people sitting on the seats, then,

  • From the data we have so far, it appears that anyone who is capable of achieving 200m in all skills would be overcome by their ego and then fail to get the final xp.   As of right now, it looks like i

This. Maybe Zarfot would play way more if he knew he was racing somebody.

IMO it would be stupid for Zarfot to race someone just for one skill. I mean, there are enough people that can nolife a skill for a month or two, but what makes Zarfot special is that he keeps at it (and is very efficient, so he doesn't have to "no life"). Suddenly starting to nolife DG would probably not be good for him in the long run.

Zarfot would still win anyway lol.

I've been racing Zezima for the last 6 years, needless to say I've been gaining on him since the last 2 years and should pass him...in 2020!

Im slowly working on toward 200M woodcutting xp, hoping I get there before the highscores aren't filled up (thanks a lot ivys) so I can get a nice spot :) hopefully under rank 50.

I'm probably the only one that trains woodcutting at sawmill with crystal saw. Its the best xp out there! 100k+ an hour.

lol nah, its not a real race but im sorta competing to beat him

i doubt him knowing about this would affect his dung xp

its just been a personal goal of mine to beat the #1 player in a skill, and by the time i get 200m dung xp im guessing zarfot will be #1

Pretty sure Zarfot only played 6-10 hours a day and not 16+ ?

It's still a lot less than 16+ hours a day.

True, but I could also say 16 is a lot less than 24 so therefore 16 hours is not no lifing it. Not true...

If you sleep 7 hours of your day, and go to work or study for 6 hours (which by the way is quite low, I sleep like 8-9 hours on a normal day and work for 8 hours), you're left with 11 hours. So, if you spent 90,9% of your free time playing RuneScape, I think that's quite a bit no-lifing.

Yes but the difference between playing 16+ hours a day and 6-10 hours a day is quite a lot, for 16+ hours a day you probably sleep and play runescape.

6-10 hours a day you can sleep, play runescape AND do something eles.

Sleeping 7 hours a day 6 1/2 hours a day at school and playing rs 8 hours a day I still get in 2 and 1/2 hours of time hanging with my friends..etc going out to dinner with em in about 2 hours after some scaping actually (=

Well, it's fine if it's what they like doing.

Not to mention alot of people dont waste the day in bed sleeping 8-9 hours and only live on 6 or less. At the very least its not really that uncommon to sleep only 6 hours on weekdays. I personally only sleep 5-6 hours a day with extra 1-2 hours on weekends.

Sometimes alot less tbh. Not that uncommon I survive on 5 hours sleep every day or less eh. I would be so groggy if I slept 9 hours and probably unable to sleep the next night until its morning.

Me and my gf sleep similiar amount and she isnt a gamer or nothing. So cant blame that on me no-lifing games instead of sleeping lol.

edit: Such a worthy post of top page as per usual for me.

I suppose Discussion of sleep is rather important in a thread all about How people can live on little sleep, and then only do the same 5 or so clicks over and over again for the rest of their day.

I can't fathom dedicating my day to obtaining a top rank in a game. I play quite a bit when i have free time but i think waking up and playing runescape all day with little breaks each and every day would be very difficult. Not judging those who do it, some do so due to health, others because they can. Hell i'd sit at home and play runescape all day if i could but i think i'd grow bored. So i ask some of the top players what gives you the motivation to do this every day without losing pace?

I spose I sleep a lot because I'm still a teenager, If I was to sleep 5 hours a day I'd feel like crap.

Looks like im 16% of the way to 200M wc xp. Does 50M xp by 2011 seem possible to you guys?

kazmahalfsize.png

50 days with a week off for xmas and new year, 5hrs a day on average at your 100k an hr at sawmill? I guess so?

As I get older the more tired I get. As a child I hated sleep and was was pretty up awake 20 hours a day even on school nights. I would be playing with toys and like hand held gaming devices due to boredom. (Which were pretty basic at the time.)

This is a discussion once again about how high levels must have no lives if I am not mistaken. Suprisingly in the thread that is called 200m in all skills. Its pointless basing amounts of hours in a day when you calculate more than 6 hours sleeping - So less hours to do other activities - Or you must be no-lifing. Most people I know only sleep 5-6 hours in a day who work. While some others 6-8 but more commonly its 5-6. My father does work that involves some manual stuff from like 5am and doesnt properly finish until around 5pm. Goes to bed at about 11pm and wakes up at 3am He only lives on 4-5 hours sleep a night (less than me.) and enjoys spending his free time on pc. Although my parents have a half an hour nap during his lunch brake in the middle of the day but they like 55'ish years old so could blame them! Thats still technically about 6pm (after dinner) to 11pm which is 5 hours leisure time. The majority of which on weekdays he spends on the pc either surfing/playing games/or playing guitar through his pc.

Now for someone else who works 9 to 5 then 10 hours is the middle number of free time. Everything completed and put aside that is easily a life of gamer who pays his own bills. To even begin to suggest someone is no-lifing then it pretty much has to be 14+ a day regularly. (Not weekends/Days off - Its their own business what people choose to do.) Though im no personally saying it is or isnt as I dont give a damn.
