Hi personally I'm killing exactly 25,000 corporeal beasts 0-200M attack exp, as I will get 33.3 Spectral shields, 16.67 Elysian spirit shields, 8.3 Arcane spirit shields, and 4.167 Divines, plus ~130,000 blue charms which I will use to make that many Geyser Titan pouches, resulting in 101,816,000 summoning exp, and will be paid for by the 1,604,321,838.9, 852,190,303.98, 3,889,284,342.5, and 3,141,208,568.25 geepees that I will accumulate from selling the respective sigils, for a total of 9,487,005,053.63, not including drops, which will fund the 1.725B spent on supplies plus pouches. During the time waiting for the beast to respawn I can attach a total of 36 feathers to dragon dart tips, resulting in 900 exp each time, for a total of 22.5M exp in fletching as well. After crafting them I will use them on the dark core, earning 2.25M ranged exp as well. In total I also get 83.3 effigies, plus after ~10 corporeal beasts I get a random, meaning 2500 990 exp lamps to be used on Runecrafting for and additional 2,475,000 Runecrafting exp. Putting white lilies in the Wilderness flower patch to check every 4 kills is also 2M farming exp. Most profitable way 0-200M combat exp if you ask me. Oops no slayer exp oh well.

Interesting. I'm trying to think of possibilities to use this to decrease the theoretical maximum hours.

 

barrage crawlers --> melee crawlers --> mine/smith separately

barrage crawlers --> melee somewhere else --> mine/smith separately

barrage on defensive --> atk/str at crawlers or somewhere else --> mine/smith separately (unlikely)

 

mining/smithing separately would be key here unless it's worthwhile to kill crawlers past 200m atk/str/def/range

Bout time someone tested barraging crawlers been waiting for those results forever however I believe from some preliminary calcs that were done awhile back between me and some others melee them should be faster still or at least very close to same speed 1 thing that could be faster by a significant amount then meleeing though is chinning them while cannoning but again, need someone to test it.

After finally catching up with the first 320-something pages I decided to post my opinion about, well, everything I can think off.

First of all I wanna thank Xensure, Thai Tong, Langer and everybody else who contributed to this thread. Your work is highly appreciated!

 

I am surprised by how many people are narrow-minded, especially in the no-lifing debate.

A few months ago I had this discussion with my parents (playing full-time RS, I don't play that much myself though) and they simply didn't understand that doing something you like, playing a videogame, could fill 10+ hours per day. Now, my parents are around their 50s so I suppose it's beyond their imagination, but seeing people with that same opinion posting on a RS-related forum was, and I'm not overexaggarating, shocking. Especially in these times of individualism and they actually grew up with computers, unlike my parents.

I myself believe in the God of the bible but [cabbage], even I can't think of a reason not to play whatever-amount per day, as long as you enjoy it. Real-life social contacts, being physically healthy and having a (preferebally well-payed) job is *not* what everyone is striving for. How naive, how narrow-minded. Makes me sad :( . Your mindset is what makes a person truly happy, not money, not health, not RS ;) . Moral of the story: as long as you're happy with what you're doing, :thumbup: .

 

I'm glad I came across this thread months ago. Not only because the hiscores have always attracted me but because people like Suomi, Drumgun and Jebrim showed me that everything is possible, as long as you want it. For me this not only makes me set the goal to maxing (just maxing 99's, haha) but I extented it to real life. I decided to get a more social life, which is working out pretty good. Also, in the coming weeks I'll start with learning to play the piano for a minimum of 1 hour a day for min. 6 months. This may not sound as a big deal to you, especially not compared to goals like 5B xp or 1B Agility, but it has a huge impact on my life. Never thought a videogame would have such a great influence in my real life :D.

 

Now a little more OT (it was not thát off-topic, right?). I wish good luck to Suomi, you have the strongest willpower I've ever seen, when you come back to rl you might get far in whatever you want with such a mindset. Drumgun, you beast and inspiring personality! Knowing you live give or take half an hour away from me it would be wonderful to meet you irl, once. For now, good luck on the longest row of 200M's ;). Aribiterspar, I watched your vids since one of the first days and I'm glad you are slowly gaining popularity and therefore sharing your knowledge. Thanks for being who you are. I would also wish the top-15 in general good luck. As somebody (can't think of the name) stated:

Good to see someone is testing barrage. I get the feeling that chaotic maul is better than chaotic staff for more cannon damage. I think that barrage would be better than chins because you can still get high attack bonus. Also, it is worthwhile to kill them past 200m in most cases.

The stuff you chop, and then burn, is worth more exp than the actual cutting of it? Also, you can FM-X it or something. As you can just stand by the burner.

I saw a vid of someone getting 315K firemaking xp/h but he didn't use the "2 tick method" (like them pro cooks), Haven't tried it though, but it seemed to be possible there.

So if you can really get 550K+ fm xp and 30K wc xp here (with no cost) then this is definitely better than backwards GE firemaking ('only' 450K xp/h with magic logs) and if you factor the wc xp it's even better than the new POH-firemaking method (up to 600K xp/hour but costs 2.5 - 3M).

 

Note: if you aren't 99 WC then you won't get the best fm xp here because you cut them slower.

 

Anyway, shouldn't have burned my share of maples 2 years ago =/ and MR. Thai Tong, you've got yourself some calculations to do on your epic thread on the official RS forums :-)

 

So only burning magic pyre logs would be better, but this isn't even an option in my opinion.
