Hedgehog
Does the potion trick work for Woodcutting too?Probably. I haven't tried it though. You can also drink potions while training herblore to save one tick per potion. I think. I'm too poor to try it.
Kr148
Sum1 tell jagex not to nerf this. Is there a way we can keep this from getting nerfed. It rewards intensive training methods with higher xp rates and also costs money. Its a good balance and also really cool http://www.youtube.com/user/PajamaGaming^click for RS vids
Hedgehog
Well, it's been around for years and only the more op versions have been nerfed (ovl fishing etc). People just need to avoid making videos about it. That's when things start to get nerfed.

You can kiss it good bye then. 2013 rs, there is a guide/video/friends chat to spoon feed you through anything. I am not a skiller, but i do some skills. crazycdcm
When you drink a dose of a potion as you attempt to catch a fish, it "resets" the timer, allowing you to make another attempt faster than naturally, ie without drinking a potion. The clever part of using overloads, was that even by attempting to drink the potion, you would effect the timer reset. Most of the time you'd be less than the 50 hp needed to drink the overload, so you wouldn't use up a dose, but you'd still get the benefits as if you had. Basically it allowed you to use the potion drinking "reset" without having to bank constantly for more potions. On that note, did the overload fix encompass adrenaline potions? I never tried with the old spec recovers...
Number1 Boss
If jagex cared at all about exp they would probably let this 1 slide, it is a lot of effort and is rewarded, plus good energy pot sink :P

Number1 Boss
can anyone answer these questions: thieving dwarfs vs ppno ibis outfit and no avatar expwhat exp/hr for each (with the god scepter) and exp/hour with supreme 5 finger aura
SR Chris
You should stay at pyramid plunder until you have the full outfit, Traders with ardy cape/gloves of silence/t4 aura every 4 hours/with outfit averaged out to 283k experience per hour over the time. With the t4 aura I was averaging around 295-300kxp/hr (I would've used the aura close to 200 times)I've heard people averaging 300k/hr at pp duo. With solo I averaged 280k while watching movies (not full concentration, 50mxp done at pp). However traders will always be the better method due to being able to fletch inbetween :) Soon as you have your ibis/sotg (sotg is optional, I would advise getting it though due to the chance of dying, I personally dc'd at traders and died) leave thieving until you have 200m fletch banked aswell. Then fletch at traders whenever you feel like it :)
SR Chris
I haven't used t5 aura myself, but I would presume over 300kxp/hr average :) Traders vary a lot due to there low success rate, with my t4 aura my lowest was around 275k while my best was over 320k
Jebrim
Tbh I'm against it because it's clearly bug abuse. There are other ways Jagex could make more intensive skilling with good rewards that doesn't include using an obscure bug like this. 3 Agilitizing my way to 1,000,000,000xp!Follow my progress on my Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/The1Jebrim
Gemeos2
can anyone answer these questions: thieving dwarfs vs ppno ibis outfit and no avatar expwhat exp/hr for each (with the god scepter) and exp/hour with supreme 5 finger aura I averaged 300k XP/hr at Pyramid Plunder. You want to make sure you don't waste any tick though because you will notice that sometimes if you had an extra tick you could open one more urn (each urn is 825xp, 12 games per hour = 10k extra XP/hr). Unless accuracy of checking for snakes and then open is over 100% it isn't worth it. I'll leave my vid about how to do it efficiently, hopefully it will help you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqgIhdZg8ns I rarely found duo worth it because people can slow you down easly, if they don't know what they are doing. I didn't found buying a aura for a 300k XP/hr skill worth the loyality points. 2 My youtube channel with efficient skilling guides and achievements

Gemeos2
What Aura is really worth getting? i had like 170k points lol Jack of trades (if you care enough) would be a good start. Fishing or Woodcutting aura (if you don't plan to C2) would also be good idea. I don't find combat auras much atractive and, according to what I checked, you are almost done with combat anyway. They are releasing new auras soon. I would probably wait for them. My youtube channel with efficient skilling guides and achievements
