If you have more than one account, you're not supposed to let them interact (i.e. trading).

This may be against the rules, but I'm pretty sure they'll have a hard time distinguishing if its one player on two computers or two players on two computers in the same LAN, like at a library.

I'm not going to ask for clarification on this, and I'm not going to let you guys know if I even attempt it. I'll let it sit in the back of my mind for now...

its doable

With lvl 65+ you should cook thunas, with 74+ lobsters and with 86+ swordfishs. Every other method is a waste of time/money imo. I already did like 50m exp with swordfishs - they are just ftw. =)

i considered fishing for tuna/swordie on karamja and then changing them into notes, selling the swordfishes, and then cook the tuna

Lol...cook all of them and then sell it. Why would you forego the xp from swordfish when you got it for free? If you are not 86 cooking, then follow the above method to get to 86 and then cook all that fished swordfish.

currently, im lvl 70 cooking, and lvl 72 fishing

ok then, first tuna and then swordie it is

I gotta get 70 rc someday, for 3 fire runes per ess...

I'm thinking of getting the catalytic staff, that's why. But I want better rc abilities first before that.

Also, anyone else find the Skeletal Horde to be THE most annoying boss ever? Near the end on a 2-man (1 tunnel left to block), a 111 rock-throwing skeleton appears. That's when my ranged pray ran out, and it was hitting high hits on me. The Divine Skinweaver managed to heal that for me. However, ANOTHER 111 rock-throwing skeleton appears, and before I know it, I was dead in 3 hits. I died 2 more times just on those 2 skeletons and a 77 skeletal mage, right upon entering and putting my pray on! :wall:

I also find Lexicus Runewright (books), Stomp (lodestones), and the Bulwark Beast (shield, and high damage) to be annoying too. I've died on Sagittaire 4 times on my first time, but that was before I realized about the magic arrows thing. <_<

Infinite cash trick at lvl 44 rc? I thought that was fixed a long time ago. Don't air runes sell at 4 ea? Or is there something else

Jagex changed the price back to 12 gp again. I guess they are being kind because of the huge exp nerf...

Buying essence from the smuggler and selling the air runes back grants you a profit if you have higher than 44 runecrafting.

oh, so does it still work? still sounds like a waste of time, i never even bother picking coins up, and the exp from doing rc in dungeneering is crap...

Yeah. Even with the rc profit, it's still really slow, and you can get a lot from monsters anyways.

High alch is really useful, btw.

@Sonic

use magic on Bulwark Beast might be a good choice, since it ignore its armor shield and directly hit through.

I have no problem with the shield. It's just that the Bulwark Beast hits quite high and accurate, and uses all 3 styles. That's what makes him quite difficult for me.

And I tried maging him once, and it didn't work out very well...

When the Bulwark Beast's shield is still on, it reduces all magic damage by half.

EDIT: Armours alch for 2x the price of smuggler.

Skeleton hoard is easy... get tier 4 or 5 mage armour, stand on the pad and mage them. Don't bother with prayer until you need to get off the pad. Attack only the rangers and magers, ignore melee (you can block pretty much all but 1 or 2 of them by letting them trap themselves).

When you have to close a tunnel, eat like crazy until you can get back on the pad. The skinweaver can heal up to 400... if you're duoing and get hit small, stay off the pad, tele out if you have to.

Lexicus Runewrite is easy if you kill the books - they take one hit. Or, use the shelves to block them out so they can't hit you.

Sagittaire is easy if you pray magic, and if you wear full melee armour, her ranged attack will never hit. If you have more than one person, have one person run towards the center so you don't spend time wasted getting to it. Once the sagittaire teleports to the outside, you should tele out and start over.

Its my least favorite boss.

Just wondering, they say Jagex is randomly picking 1 player who answered weekly polls, and giving them 1 month membership. Is this true?

I'm not sure, but I recall reading this somewhere too.

EDIT:

From now on, all future polls will be open to both members and free players! We really value the thoughts and opinions of all our players, and that’s why we want to enable all of you to tell us what you think. Our polling system automatically logs each voter’s member status, so we’ll always be able to take into account exactly how our members and free players feel about the questions we put to you.

And that’s not all... We’re also introducing a weekly prize draw for all poll participants! At the close of each poll, we’ll be picking one lucky participant at random and awarding them with one month of RuneScape membership! So, you click a couple of boxes to let us know what you think and we’ll give you a shot at some freebies. How’s that for a good deal?

http://services.runescape.com/m=news/c=tvoYZ25HYvE/newsitem.ws?id=2845&allcat=true

They don't announce winners, so I assume they just give membership right away, without warning whatsoever.

if solo, all boss is not a problems, duo is still ok, then 3 is getting hard for some boss.

just make preparation before face them. dont just go in with all dusk eel, cook at least half inventory short finned or giant flatfish and make some armor if not confidence with your range and magic accuracy or for protection.

yes Plasma, but i dunno what i gonna do if i get it, maybe just look around gather music only. f2p ftw

can anyone confirm this? If you solo mage the skeleton hordes from the pad, and never block the tunnels, can you just stay there, blasting away? Provided, you have a fire staff and do the inf coin trick for 30 min, get lots of deaths and airs and stay there. B/c for me, soloing the skeles is pretty easy and skinweaver heals too fast for them to ko you. Will you reach a steady state where you kill them slightly faster than they respawn?

not we already talk about this about few pages back then?

yes, it is possible for you to stay there training, but eventually you will run out of arrow or runes anyway.

their CB lvl is depend on your own, i would say it is unlikely for you to kill them faster then they respawn, but i sometime can kill until 1 and 1-2 just spawn from the tunnels.

@ Sees: It's easy at first, but not when a lot of high-level (over level 100) skeletons pop up, especially with the extremely fast rock-throwing ones.

That's what annoys me the most. <_<

And about the training thing, why would you want to train there? Last time I checked, you only get half the combat exp you normally do in the dungeons.

I tried it a few weeks ago with melee. Three tunnels open was enough for endless slaying.

It was really useful when you can still get a good xp from RC before they decide to nerf the xp rate for RC. I tried it for a while hopefully to get a good amount of xp for smith and crafting, but give it up after way too much clicking to recycle the airs and not enough xp justified.

Imagine they still do that for RC now, people would spend tons of hours just make tons of money and then just let them RC away for hours on end (unless you suddenly get disconnected, then all the effort is wasted.......)

I tried to aproximate the exp/hour making air runes in the dungeon and in 15 minutes I got just over 1k exp (at 75 RC). So the hourly rate should be around 4-5k exp/hour with air runes. In the 15 minutes, I started with ~50k, bought ess, made airs, sold them then did one more round and that brought me to 14 minutes. I can't really tell how the exp/hour will differ with more GP (depends on crafting time vs. selling time).

Call it 7-9k xp/hour with fire runes. This is still lucrative enough for a F2Per to auto...

Is all combat experience nerfed? I thought it was just magic experience. I've gained about a million strength experience since dungeoneering was released, it'll take away the grind to 99.

If not all combat experience is nerfed (i.e. ranged), the skeleton horde will become another *great* way to get combat XP while AFKing.
