Vyleo
My favorite sense is sound. Always has been, probably always will be. Maybe it's just me, but music can really set the mood - whether it be frightening, exciting, or even sensual. (I'm looking at you, Barry White). That said, Runescape has tons of musical scores and sound effects. One can hear the wind blowing, the water splashing, or the drums banging on a track to really give the player a feel for what is occurring. So, what is your favorite track? Your favorite sounds? Do you even like listening to the music on Runescape? Why? Personally, I love leveling up Mining. The sounds that come with an increase in level sound so cool and mysterious. :^_^:

Me_Hate_Libs
RS music is awful. Sorry, but it just is. I know they work hard, but it lacks any real oomph to it. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd.
Vyleo
Wait.......people actually listen to the RS music? I do from time to time. Not always, but when regular music gets tiresome, it's always nice to take a break and listen to what's actually going on within the game. RS music is awful. Sorry, but it just is. I know they work hard, but it lacks any real oomph to it. It's definitely not the best, but some tracks are pretty catchy in my opinion. PuppyKing
No runescape music for me. But when ever I hear the sound of a bird`s nest dropping, I get a little happier. Blog.
Saunamajuri
I have some favorite music tracks, for example, route of all evil, temple desecrated and battle of souls. I also like calm tracks like fishing (especially the water splashing sound) and sound of guthix. To be precise, here is my playlist:-Temple desecrated-Face off-The route of all evil-Assault and battery-Superstition-The sound of Guthix-Chosen commander-Fe fi fo fum-The Jaws of the dagannoth-Fallen hero-Kingdom-Waste defaced Glad to see someone else finds Runescape music awesome  "An Amateur practices until he can get it right. A Professional practices until he can't get it wrong." Quests just keep bringing me back to this game.

Sephy_
Well some tracks bring back memories nicely and some just fit the atmosphere better than non-rs music. My fav would probably be Where Eagles Lair

tony112x
I don't listen to RS music, but the tunes that play in Lumbridge, Falador and Varrock always bring back memories of my first few months of playing RS2, when I actually had the music play all the time. It's weird that they have stayed in my memory for so many years.

The Observer
I only put music on when I do a new quest or especially when I get a 99 skill because I won't hear that sound again for that specific skill.

Amundogus2
I seriously doubt you have listened to RS music recently if you think its awful. Nearly all reviews claim music as a positive, and some of it I wouldn't be surprised to hear in say, a movie. Throne of bandos is a very "movie-ish" creepy soundtrack. Ezz
I like "The Throne of Bandos" because it is pretty dark and reminds me of some Diablo soundtracks. But I only listen to RS music when questing. It is definitely worth listening to the RS music when questing :) [insert birds flying in a circle here]Yes, that sig was annoying.
LatinII
I don't understand why so many people hate RS music  I like Stillwater a lot. What do you think of Stillwater Vyleo?
Vyleo
Ive been going through the rs player lately and this is my list of favorites so far: That's quite an impressive list you have there. I've looked up and listened to the ones I could, and I have to say, you have great taste. Hardly ever listen to RS music anymore though, too repetative.. Yes, the music does get a tad repetitive, but I find it's more bearable when not looped and only activated naturally. Listening to the sound effects in the mean time is perfectly fine with me since it's not absolute silence. Throne of bandos is a very "movie-ish" creepy soundtrack. I haven't been able to find this soundtrack, but I look forward to someday finishing the quest just to listen to the music. I like Stillwater a lot. What do you think of Stillwater Vyleo? Just finished looking it up and listening to it, and I have to say, it's probable one of my favorite tracks now. Stillwater is relaxing and fits the activity of Fishing perfectly. fallout
Unbelievable! I'm amazed that you describe sound as your favorite sense and be able to like RuneScape sounds. I like music, I like sounds, I continue to invest in audiophile equipment to enjoy even more the world of sounds, audio and music. But I absolutely cannot stand any runescape audio, it is just HORRIBLE. Especially the sound effects, which have very annoying sound characteristics being more noise than anything else. They make my head ache, seriously!
