Pretty sure there was a Toy Story 3 thread created a few weeks ago... but whatever XD

I'm really looking forward to this movie. Pixar did a fabulous job with the second one and although the plot of the third makes me a bit uneasy (it's just a little too different), I'm still confident that Pixar will do a pretty good job with it. They don't make crappy sequels just to make money like some other companies seem to do.

This was the first movie I ever watched, it came out just a few months after I was born. So much nostalgia, it's going to be great! My only worry is that people have such fond memories of the original Toy Story that no matter how good it is, there will be at least a few people that complain.

Also, are they getting the original voices back? Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, etc?

Pixar is the last remnant of quality in the animated business. They make timeless classics that EVERYONE can relate to. Up is like my favorite movie <3 I actually got really sad when the girl (crap.. the name somehow escapes me) died in the beginning. That said, I watched Toy Story 1 and 2 so freaking much growing up, I'm really not in the mood for a Toy Story 3. L

I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. Comped 4/30/15

I'll probably catch it when its out on DVD but I'm pretty excited for it! :D I can't remember if it was just the trailer I saw or an extended preview when this Disney guy gave a lecture at my school but it looked great.

I'll probably see it in theaters with some of my friends. I loved the original, but I don't remember being really impressed with the sequel. I'm looking forward to it though.

Don't hate me, but I seriously cannot remember the first two. I know I saw them many times, but I can't remember a single part. I'll probably tag along and see it wiht my friends, if we decide to go to a town which actually has a movie theatre. >_>

Someone else said it, but, it'll be pretty interesting the movie theater lined up more with teenagers/young adults than kids themselves. The guys who actually grew up with the stuff.

As for me, I'll definitely watch it. Maybe in theathers, maybe in DVD, but I'll watch it one way or another.

Tbh if they have a midnight showing I'm going. And I'm buying 1 & 2 on DVD as soon as possible (they come out on Tuesday).

Everybody except for the couple of actors who have died since the beginning are the same, I'm pretty sure.

I remember reading that Pixar won't make sequels unless they can be as good as the original. Can't wait for Toy Story 3, but it doesn't come out until July over here, ftl. And I want to go see it at the cinema >.<

At least it's in the summer holidays then.

I can't wait to see the theatres packed with more adults than kids over an animated film. :XD:

I hope it defies the rule of "if the first sequel is good then the second will probably suck". I mean, take a look at The Godfather, The Matrix, and the Spiderman Trilogy.

And Shrek... My god lol.

I do have my doubts because I don't like the story. It just feels too different. But at the same time Pixar has never let me down so.. I guess this will be a true test for them.

No embarrassment. Blame the Animation Ghetto Age we live in today. <_<

Slinky Dog is the only character who is being voiced differently, due to the death of Jim Varney (RIP Ernest). Blake Clark is replacing Varney.

So basically, Toy Story 1 & 2 are my favourite movies by far. I will be going to this opening night, no matter what.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.
