Second in command, is Ring World, because he posted before me, and then Evil Eye 70 because he makes me laugh, and finally Nomromorom boi because, he used to be stupid but now he isn't.

Four days later, there was a hush over the quiet town of Jagflexia, as for once there was peace. But it was not the kind of peace one would want for, the stock holds were empty, the gallows un tied, the guillotines spotless, and the report systems dry. There was nothing. A wind blew over the fields of flax, the yew trees, now overgrown, has destroyed this merry town. The Lobsters and sharks, now so plentiful, and run out of food, and were slowly cannibalizing their loved ones, in a feudal attempt to stay alive. There were no runes being created, the altar now mossy and dead. Not that it would have matter, because there was no one to utilize such treasure. In fact -- there was no one at all. No one to rejoice in the plentiful harvests brought in by the illegal poachers of skills, the Macroers. No one to get angry when the fish weren't biting. No one to even wonder where everyone had gone to. Well, actually, there was still one. A crazed and lonely man, he wandered the hills and dales, the barrows (irl, thats a tomb site fyi) and vales. He climbed the fjords in search of more, more. There had to be more.

 

He looked in the reflection of the now useless Saradomin brews that had poisoned the water supplies, looking for the tell tale signs. The bald hair, the yellow shirt, the green pants. Where had they gone? Where had he gone? He pondered this, day and night, through the rain and shine. Until his brain reached a conclusion, that immediately wished, like in old times, could just log out and not remember thinking. Maybe, he had become the last. The last survivor, the last hunter, and perhaps, the last ...? No, surely such thoughts are for fairies and schoolgirls, and not hardened warriors like himself. He has become the true victor, the victor of the frenzy. The frenzy was so great before the fall, the decadence supreme, and pretentious knowledge flowed like the loneliness that now fills the streams of place he used to know.

 

He remembered, almost like yesterday, and well, maybe just perhaps it was yesterday. Time, after all, had no hold on life without another life to hold onto. The last hours of humanity, oh so clear, like the crystal bow used to slaughter the chinchompas fleeing from the poachers. He ran around, so proud, so foolish of his skills. As soon as someone stopped moving, or fell to a horrendous mistake of merely being human, he knew they were a poacher. He pulled out his labeler, typed out the word "bot" and labeled their soul. As he watched them dissapear to the prison of Thrander, he felt this feeling. He labeled it joy, but he knew that was not its name. No, its name was loathe. As they dissapeared he put the self loathing harbored inside his meager frame into the bot, and as they dissipated into nothing, he hated himself just a tad less, for having deplorable skill levels. And he looked around, and felt another feeling, of pride, as many others took to the street labeling. And then as more and more was raptured to the one truth, and one hell in the world, they turned on themselves. Convinced their fellow Scapians were poachers as well, until they were all gone. The last accidentally labeling himself.

 

And now, there was the wanderer. Surprisingly, he didn't hate himself for having lacking skills, because there was no way to tell if they were lacking, as there was no companions to compare. Not even animals, those were the first to go in the Great Frenzy. They figured if they labeled the furry little chinchompers themselves, that the poachers would have nothing to poach. But God, oh Gods, were they wrong. They just moved on. And now, there was no where to move on to. He walked the lonely roads in Isdafar, and (as alluded too earlier) is when the thought hit him. What if, he was the greatest poacher of all time? The poacher of all poachers, but a poacher nonetheless. The thought unbearable, exited his skull, as he pulled his chaotic rapier, now useless, and forced his meninges to pour open, and out the back of his skull. He couldn't bear all the chaos he created, all the mistrust, and hatred, in a world where there was previously none.

 

And the strangest thing of all, is in all the wars of the great world of Gielnor, in the all the cities ruled by the Jagflexian Knight Table, no one ever could ever form the one question. This one question, one thought, that could have been created by even the smallest child, or miscreant noob; enforced by the Kings of All Kings, the Pros of all Pros. But alas, no one knew the question, despite all knowing the answer. Why, why were there poachers to begin with? What could bring one to risk their soul, for mere goods? But alas, I guess we will never know, as the round round world of all our thoughts spin into oblivion, unknown, and untouched by any creature for all time.

ok, first off, this post is made in good fun. I'm mining at LRC and am so bored. So I decided to write this, it's to poke fun, don't take it personal Sw0rd, I was just bored. And Rom, someone had to die =\ and we had no token black men, so you were the first.

While permanent bans have been there the entire time, the progression went 14 day ban, 21 day ban, then perm.

Now I believe it's simply a straight perm.

 

This might deter some botters, but in my opinion, not too many.

With good bots, it's just too hard for JaGex to catch them.

 

And they know it.

 

But at least the possibility of a perm will always be in the back of their heads.

I HATE the argument that "they make things cheaper." Who cares? That's a seriously selfish argument. Bots are illegal, end of story. And just because they make things cheaper for YOU, doesn't mean someone else isn't suffering. Maybe some people enjoy chins. They used to be a decent source of cash, I do believe. Maybe some people hunted them for money. Maybe some people want to use chins to level up. Or any other method of training any skill that bots are ruining. Ugh stop justifying botting! It is NOT justifiable!

I'm sure some hunter-gatherer society made farming illegal soon after its innovation. It devalues the hunter-gathers hard work, and makes there money makers worse. The exact same argument as most people have for bots.

I do make money, I have miscelania. Miscelania easily covers everything I need with a few hundred thousand coins per day with no effort required. And also, I've reported a lot of bots. Ever since I started reporting essence botters, there are less and less, so It does make a difference.

 

So think before you post please, it saves everyone time. Have a nice day. :)

So now you're accusing me of botting based on what I'm posting here. Didn't you get angry at Saru for saying you are like the serial killer who helps with police investigations to throw suspicion from himself based on your posting (which I agree with).

 

So everyone who doesn't mind bots and is annoyed by your post (which is a lot based on the posts in this and other botting threads) is a botter? That's almost better than people who don't respond to public chat are botters.

 

And I have not noticed any less people mining essence. Also have you noticed how essence has been going down instead of up which it should since you've hunted so many bots in the last few days. Bot hunting seems to be super effective!

Nice move Jagex, hoping that will clear out the scum from this game if only for a short period. Kudos to Jagex for doing it, but major letdown that they let the situation get to this point.

 

Would also be nice if a lot of high level slayers got banned from this, that would clear out some training spots. I might pay a visit to red chins if the botters are too scared to log these days.
