Wait -- aren't we scheduled for two more updates? I know clue and I thought something else? so I figured 2 this week and one next week. Unless of course theres only one update left then yea next week.

You can use bones on Daemonheim prayer altars for 4x prayer exp. Sounds awesome, right?

 

Not before I found out you can only use one type of bone on the altar. :thumbdown:

 

Also, is it just me or do F2P solos get much harder monsters now? This happened to me on medium dungeons, got a whole load of level 70s with a level 90 boss, when usually it's much lower.

i personaly hope that frost drags can be made a slayer task but if they arent ill probably never kill one

 

even if i never kill a single drag ill benifit form this update, this shuold make prayer cheaper and faster

 

it could lower dbone prices, 1. theres now bone competition, 2 even if only high lvls kill these then it frees up existing spawns for lower lvls

 

id say these bones could be 12k-15k ea and still be worth it to most people, which might make dbones 4-5kea

It won't lower d bones that much, people capable of killing them won't bother with it for money making (especially if they get any cheaper than they are) because better methods exist or they would prefer to get slightly less cash per hour and actually have fun.

5k ea d bones are like 20gp/xp, and 13k ea frost bones are also 20gp/xp, so those wont be the prices. 4k ea d bones would be 15-16gp/xp, and 15k ea frosts 23-24gp/xp. But because frosts are like 700-1000k/h pray xp, I don't believe that they will go much under 30gp/xp

Err no. Didn't say myself clearly that time.

 

And I'm mistaken, you CAN use more than one bone or bat bone on the altar.

 

Still, my point stands. After you use one big bone on the altar, you can't use anymore big bones. Glitch much? <_<

I don't really think so, you only get a 7% bonus on exp compared to a small floor, and it takes about 10-15mins longer on average.

Hmm than you've got to be lucky wiht the altars - otherwise you'er wasting inventory spots.. I'd say leave them unless there is an altar nearby... Only bones considering bringing to an altar would be the dragon bones..

For anyone still wondering how good a moneymaker frost dragons are- i was able to bank 314 bones in 1 hour 45 minutes, buried around 40 more bones, used up around 2.5k cannonballs, 25 4 dose prayer potions, and the drops other than bones made up around 500k. I used overloads, but it'd be hard to count those into the profit margin. Oh, and around 270 scrolls. 210+ kills is possible with yak+maxed melee, no other familiar really makes sense there.

 

Oh, i also got an effigy, but they don't seem to be very good droppers of those.

Well, it IS world 1 after all. And only 2% of all the people playing RS actually reads the updates.

If you want to team up with a friend and do a large 5:5, you still have to advertise to be sure you're in a team with your friend.

 

This should be an option when you enter the auto-group-make room imo.

Groupstone teleport (gatestone is green) and the photobooth you can build at the hotspot located in the base ;)
