September 11, 201114 yr I'm really liking 1.8 so far. It's pretty laggy on my laptop annoyingly, but hopefully performance will be better when the update's properly released. I've really been enjoying exploring the abandoned mines; they're often connected to ravines and dungeons which makes them massive. I've lost count of the amount of times I've got myself lost exploring them, but I always seem to find my way back with an inventory full of goodies. My only gripe is that in the first world I generated, I spawned in the middle of an ocean biome! I spent about 10 minutes trying to find my way to land and gave up in the end! To hell with humanity;The more I see, the less I believe.

September 12, 201114 yr So far I found a dinky village, and miles upon miles upon miles of abandoned miles that float mid-air. Made myself a two-story house at the village I found so wee. I answered. :P Mojang sanctioned it after the second prerelease link was leaked and they realized it was inevitable. EDIT: Damn, first on a new page so my post is out of context :( Creeps always return home. :thumbup: I found a ravine stretching from a little harbor next to my house to gold/lapi lulzi level. From the bottom you can see a huge waterfall from the harbor flowing down the rocks and edges. I will post a pic up later, when I'm down there again. Also, is it just this ravine, or is the area around ravines hollow? Hollow as in open spaces separated by a thin layer of stone or gravel.
