Dax
I couldn't leave my mates. We're all added around the place, and it'd be easy to catch up, but it's too easy to go online and chill in the chat we have. Plus the game still has me. My interest always goes down to a point where I rarely play, then it shoots back up with an update, last one was the TT update. Jeffwilson99
There's a lot to do, and I always have more things I want to do. Often when I quit and come back, I do some of the things I didn't manage last time, as well as all the new things.

Flareboy64
I'd like to say it's because of my friends, but I only have one real friend I talk to on Rs and he is rarely on nowadays with school. I Guess it is an escape sometimes, instead of smoking or drinking to calm me down I go on rs. Skyflipper0
I refuse to play it after 6 years.I still read forums, I know what's happening (updates) etc, but each day I spend only 5 minutes on runescape. After a while you'll realise that this game isn't as fun as another game, I mean, you cannot compare this game to a real game, like on a ps3 of xbox360 This game was fun, the first 2 months you were playing it, because everything was new and enjoyableNow, you are just grinding, trying to be better and getting addicted (count on it, I was addicted as hell) So no thanks, I enjoy playing modern warfare and assasins creed instead
Vulxai
While I do admit, I enjoy console games more than the PC (my PS3 needs new controllers, and only have one game for my 360 right now, which was solely to play with a buddy), it's pretty safe to say I'm not addicted. I'm on Crew, I hop on here and there, but it's rarely for extended periods. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~

Bassy
It gives me something to keep me sane while doing homework, and I love multi-tasking, so I usually play PS3 with Runescape open on my laptop. Nothing beats putting a knife in a dude's head on Battlefield and getting Mining/Smithing/Slayer xp at the same time. :shades: Click Here for a Common Sense Dungeoneering Guide

Orly? That must mean that celebrities and athletes are close to curing cancer, amirite? That made no sense... Athletes are paid high because of supply and demand, and the free market. Higher educated soldiers aren't normally privates, and as such get paid more. I could get my education, ROTC, etc, and graduate with the rank of 2nd Lt. I'd get paid more then a private. What is your point? Geez, tip.it should require people to take a course in basic logic before they are allowed to post. The thing about "reconsidering Columbus day" proves my point. I suppose we should be mad at Washington for owning slaves, or Lincoln for being AGAINST the freeing of slaves as a reason for the Civil War being fought. "I would save the Union. I would save it the shortest way under the Constitution. The sooner the national authority can be restored; the nearer the Union will be "the Union as it was." If there be those who would not save the Union, unless they could at the same time save slavery, I do not agree with them. If there be those who would not save the Union unless they could at the same time destroy slavery, I do not agree with them. My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery." Tell that to your teachers next time they start teaching their re constructionist BULL [cabbage]. Part of why I play is to prove people wrong (or right) and to make the game more accepting of efficiency, and to help destroy idiotic common practices, like slaying in a DFS. Sir_Squab
Offi-topic, but if you read that quote, it says he didn't really give a damn one way or another; he just wanted to save the Union, in the shortest way under the Constitution. (From this quote it appears) he just wanted to keep the U.S. together, and slavery seemed to be tearing it apart. 'Course what the hell do I know, I'm Canadian lol. Squab unleashes Megiddo! And Lincoln being against freeing them? So he signed the Emancipation Proclamation against his own will? You should research what it did. It only freed slaves in the confederacy, which was a rather moot point. It also didn't free slaves in states allowing slavery, but still with the union. As well, it wouldn't free ANYONE if the war ended before the bill came into power. In all, it was purely political. That's what I mean about revisionist history, most think the Civil war was over slavery, etc. [hide=Drops]Araxxor Eye x1 Leg pieces x2GWD: 5000 Addy bar Steam B Staff x3 Z Spear x6 Sara. You claim a direct correlation between intelligence and salary. I proved you wrong by showing that celebrities and athletes have lower intelligence but immensely high salaries. Cancer research involves great intelligence, which these people do not have, which nullifies your statement that salary is based on education. That is my point, which you would've found out if you bothered to take a course in basic statistics and problem solving.

I plan on making sure I get every item, then in 50 years (hopefully runescape is still around) I'll sell it on ebay to retire. Obviously my plan makes perfect sense. I skill.
