Cheefoo
The Runescape economy is going under a huge change, and I imagine there will be a number of big shifts in a short time span. Making money in Runescape now seems to be centered more about gold and items changing hands than ever before. People focus less on gathering resources, collecting items for trade, and more about swindling their fellow player out of their money and items in one way or another without really putting anything back into the system. Reminds me of Wall Street. Obtaurian
I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I'm obsessed with Dungeoneering right now. On the one hand I don't have to deal with all the haggling and trading. On the other hand I'm not making any money because I'm not dealing with said haggling and trading. Hm. Whatever. If someone can find a way to buy me a Hexhunter I'll be happy. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Worried if I should atleast attempt to make some cash just in case.
zotto
I started dungeoneering yesterday because I feel the proper game is currently broken. Might as well play the "skill minigame" instead. Just doing solos at med because can't find any decent teams for my noob level.
RunesRath
Been having fun with all this. I even saved the life someone level 136. We were in Clan Wars free-for-all dangerous, and I was sitting in the safe zone enjoying the blood shed. Then I noticed a mage come from the deeper part of the arena, and froze this level 136 1 square from the safe zone. He was about to die, so I did I knew I had to do. I left the safe zone, started attacking the mage. The mage was forced to start attacking me, and the 136 got away. Boy, that mage sure was mad!
BloodAngel
After the free trade update, which allows you to place an offer on the Grand Exchange at any price that you wish, some of the guide prices have been changing more drastically than they were intended to. For example, the blue partyhat has gone up in price from around 700mil to over 1 billion in two updates. Whilst some prices will need to adjust to move from old prices to new ones, these rapid movements occurred due to a calculation error and so don't represent reliable values. We have fixed the calculation, and from tomorrow, the prices should update as expected. The next price update may however be affected to some extent. This is only expected to affect items that are traded in lower volumes. Any prices that have been affected by this, we will try to return the guide price to its expected value today and tomorrow. We know this affects some discontinued items such as the blue partyhat. If you would like to post below, on this thread, any other items which you are concerned about having made a price change of >5% per day over the last two days, we will try to check them. I myself gave 500k to some guy dancing, but that was just because I was happy free trade was back! Thanks, Quenya
