I am currently drinking Polar Orange Dry and it is delicious. I've recently been going through a carbonated drink phase. I don't know what it is, but for some reason they make me feel less bored by everything.

On brownies: I used to not like brownies that much, but then I was introduced to a strange contraption called an "edge brownie pan". It's a zigzag-shaped pan where every brownie will have an edge, and that way they will have that special edge texture. Also, the pan has less space in it, so if you use the same recipe, the brownies are thicker. Thick brownies are delicious.

Does anyone have any GOOD recipes that they have tried and are willing to share?

I'm also on the lookout for a recipe for good cupcakes/muffins. I've never made any and would like to bake some this week. :)

While I'm here I might as well dump the majority of the stuff I have saved whilst lurking /ck/.

I do a lot of my shopping at european delis and oriental stores. I basically live on plain rice, mineral water and cranberry juice cocktail.

Chopped lobster on a toasted and buttered hamburger roll + Shrimp, clams, scallops, haddock, crab, and lobster on a bed of linguine in a white garlic butter sauce + homemade fish chowder + a nice slice of pie = bliss.

I love Maine.

Just had a chip sandwich. God I love those things. And with a little bit of spicy mustard, it makes for a tasty and filling snack.

Hamburger Casserole like a boss

First make some mother[bleep]ing macaroni. Then make some corn. Then make 5-6 of your favorite burger, cut them up into chunks, and mix them with the macaroni and corn. Add some tomato soup and assorted spices for flavor. Lather with ketchup. Delicious.

That's definitely one of the most unusual foods I've ever heard of. Even moreso than most of the things they serve in foreign restaurants.

I'm surprised I haven't shared this already. Made a batch for my brother just now. Oh God orgasmic.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup butter

1 cup chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

9 cups Crispix cereal (any flavor)

1-1/2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:

1. Combine peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.

2. Microwave for one minute then stir to blend all ingredients thoroughly. Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Stir well.

3. Place the 9 cups of Crispix cereal in a very large bowl.

4. Pour the peanut butter-chocolate mixture over the cereal and toss evenly, making sure all the cereal gets a good covering.

5. Coat with powdered sugar, sprinkling evenly over the cereal and tossing as you sprinkle to cover each piece well. From here.

I don't use vanilla, and I make the peanut butter/chocolate mix on the stove (tricky). But this is the recipe.

Speaking of smoothies, this is an epic one I made. I was trying to replicate a smoothie from Planet Smoothie but actually ended up making it better:

2 Bananas

4 Tablespoons of peanut butter

3 Scoops of frozen yogurt/vanilla ice cream

Then I just pour some chocolate syrup on it. Amount doesn't matter too much, but I pour liberally because I like the sugar :3

Oh and ice, you need some of that too. Sometimes I add a little bit of water to help with the consistency, but I don't think it does much.

But it is SO GOOD. It's also now a ritual of mine to make one of them every first and last day of school.

I'm getting chicken fried steak tonight. I am so happy it is my brother's birthday.

OH SO GOOD. Mashed potatoes and bacon green beans with it. Ice cream cake afterward. Tomorrow we're going to a Louisiana kitchen, fantastic place. And on my birthday Saturday, I'm grilling steak with my dad. This is the good life. Oh, and my mother promised to make me a thick chocolate shake. I'm glad I work out.

The cereal. Those sugary type things. But I guess they taste good

Hell yeah! All the chocolate seeps into the milk and it tastes amazing when you've ate all the cereal =D
