Doubt it'll be feasible to get 10K if you only casually play.

The same can be said for many recent updates, sof or not. It's just that now you can choose to spend money instead of time. :razz:

 

i've gotten 1k starfire in 100k mining xp at lrc gold. So ya you have 11 days to get 3mil mining xp, hope that in those 30k starfire you get 3 gems, then go camp monsters for blue prints.

 

if you can only play an hour or two every day because of commitments you aren't getting all 3 unless you buy spins. If there was no time constraint it would be a different story but it's either buy spins or skip work/school for this.

 

sure you can buy ore but if your unlucky getting gems/blueprints with daily spins your still mining and monster camping.

Tier info is interesting.

Tier 1 - Elder Gods

Tier 2 - Guthix & Zaros at full power 'Transcendent Gods' who are getting close to the power of Elder

Tier 7 - 'facets of gods' Things that are born of god's power and draw on it but aren't really a god (het, crondis, scarabas, ampken, bandos avatar)

 

So I'd guess with this new info:

Tier 6 - Demigods (Amascut & Itchalrin) They aren't "images of a god" they are direct blood children of a god, but considering Elindiss (mother) is just a water spirit they gotta be weakened a bit.

Tiers 3,4 and 5 I'd guess have to be Ascending Gods (As in those who have just hit true godhood and aren't necessarily all that powerful), New Gods (The gods with less following and less power who haven't necessarily been around tht long like Brassica Prime and Marimbo I'd say) and 'Old' Gods (the ones who been around and are established, but aren't on par with the tier 2 guys (so arma, bandos, sara, Zaros since he got beat up, Zammy is probably here now etc)

Would like to see what hard mode is like.

 

They showed plenty of it in the video and we already know the details really: Arma, Bandos and Zamorak are getting the special attacks they used in TWW, the only big mystery is Sara since there was no TWW battle and it has been made special for this.

seems like they're heavily implying everything we've been speculating about the armors to be true

 

way to play into those doubts there jagex lol

 

is 200000 coins for one hour of rent (somewhat like the fee for say, a karaoke room) worth it?

So next weeks update is the hit chance update, armour types and gwd?

I'm interested to see what kinds of armour groups it is.

When they mentioned tank they showed seasinger robes and bandos. Does that mean seasinger is going to have less offensive bonuses compared to... lets say pollypore or virtus if they decide to make those offensive.

Or maybe Nex gear will be offensive while bandos/zammy/armadyl is defensive?

I am going to reserve judgment for now, despite the fact that Jagex is one entity who certainly doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt, and hope that they didn't trash PoP armour again. IF they do end up doing that, then [bleep] Jagex. They spent the entire video boasting about "player feedback", they had better not ignore the dozens of threads over the forums for the past few months where people have repeatedly said that they don't think PoP should be inferior to Nex; particularly, PoP should not be made Tank armour while Nex is made offensive, since defense is useless post-EoC. Let's not forget the previous fiasco where they promised for PoP to be the best, then went ahead maxing Nex better while promising to make PoP better "later on", only for them to quietly renege their promise. And of course their whole nonsensical insistence in undermining the whole point of EoC where tiers matter and are supposed to reflect their levels (85 > 80).

 

Again, I sincerely hope they don't end up pulling this shit. I was on a semi-break from RS anyways, perhaps they will incentivize me further.

Inb4 I need to buy certain types of armour to fill a role PVM groups demand me have. I'm really not a fan of this because the community is a fickle being.

They showed torags and sea singer for defensive and banods and pernix for offensive

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

I smell a tier mixup. I'm guessing it'll be something like using tier 70 armour and lp with a tier 80 offensive stat (if you matched the armour with a tier 70 weapon such as a whip)

If they're going down the offensive/defensive/hybrid route it should be within the tiers, otherwise I fear they are going to make pop armour even more useless. Something like being able to set your armour as one of the three the first time you use it, then should you want a different style, you'll need to buy a new set or perhaps pay Bob to change it around.

I would hope so, but there aren't enough sets in each tier to play up to it I think... I'm more concerned with nex/pop and whatever else is in line with those sets. What will constitute as offensive, defensive and hybrid? Mind you there are only those two locations. Should we think that hybrid will be brought later on?

In relation to instanced GWD, does this mean then that graves will spawn outside the boss room, should you die in an instance?

If so, see ya risk of death and losing stuff due to kc

i think they spawn in the kill count area at the moment not in the boss chambers.

Personally, I think armor should all be defensive. It should not provide any offensive bonuses because it is armor not a weapon. I don't care if pre-eoc armor had bonuses that people got attached to, there was a reason they took it away. It doesn't make any sense! /rant

Nerfing soul split would make it useless in PvM situations, would it not? If it's less effective at maintaining health than Deflection Curses, then what's the point?

Nothing offical on Nex yet as far as I know, though the Facebook page did have something mentioning hard mode Nex, though it wasn't clear if there would be HM nex. :wall:
