Every single darn time I go to the beach (I only go maybe once or twice a year). I put sunscreen everywhere on my body except for one little spot. It's that spot right above the kneecaps that I don't see when i'm applying while standing up. When I sit down the shorts ride up and im cooked.

I don't burn very badly, but I do remember a friend who did one year..

He stayed out in a pool (water reflects even more sun right on you, yippie!) for around 6 hours, and when he came out, he said he felt sick, so he went to sleep...When he came out of his tent, he said he felt even worse and he had blisters all over his body. It was nasteh. :P

In the summer, I always burn really bad my first time in the sun, and then I get a very nice tan after that.

This year, after my burn, if I were to brush my shoulder with my hand, it would snow dead skin...

^That's gross...

Last year we did this tubing thing on the Potomic River. I got burned on my calfs, shoulders, back, face, and neck. I still have some skin that hasn't fully healed(although it's ALMOST all gone.. after 10 months)

I was full of blisters, could not even walk my skin was so sore. Missed 2 days of work, never ever again will that happen.

I've been fortunate. I've never gotten sunburnt, though I do spend 10+ hours a day outside. WOOT FOR ME!

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

Its always on top of my feet, every year when we go to NC its the one spot that totaly gets baked. I am pretty pale, but i spend time outside so my skin gets used to it, but ofcourse i am always wearing shoes so those babies pretty much never see the light of day much. So when we go to NC my feet are as pale as snow. Last year they even bubbled a little they were burned so bad. I hate putting on a bunch of sun screen but i regret it every year  .

I have some sunburn at the moment, though it's not my worst. You know how your skin starts to peel and get dry when it is healing? I found a solution for that - I've been rubbing it off with a gentle exfoliant (aka an orbital sander).

Mum: yesssss!

Me: Alright let me do it then...

I had a bit of a sunburn last week. I remember somebody who posted pictures of his sunburn here, hehe. I thought it was tomato. Not sure though. :) But that looked pretty bad. : ')
