I am curious to know what gets your heartbeat thumping when you play on Runescape.

 

 

 

Is it when you level a particularly hard skill? Or maybe when you see a rare drop from a monster.

 

 

 

Mine is when I get attack in the wilderness, I am usually unprepared for a fight (if I am runecrafting for example) and I have to decide what to do fast.

 

 

 

What about you?

Fire cape attempts once Jad shows his ugly mug and while in the wilderness. I usually have nothing to "fear" due to my level but people are quite a bit more unpredictable than NPCs. Neither is from "fear" per se but they both get me hyped up, which is fun. :

i'd have to say being in wilds and seeing all the white dots running for me. I only ever go wilds to rc or for clues so its more just teh annoyance of losing the few items i have with me!

I would have to say my first fire cape attempt when fighting Jad.

 

edit: good barrows drop like spear.

kq hitting 5 20+ hits in a row and i constantly eat, then my prayer runs out so i quickly drink a dose and pray while eating at same time

eh if im bout to die, cept for castlewars..orif ive just done somethin incredibly lucky or stupid.

when i have to face a hard boss in a quest with restrictions

the lost city quest you can use armor and the best melee weapon you could get is a bronze axe

when i get a big achievement or when some jerk abyss pks me when i get a scimi or 2 in a fire giant trip or when me and my friend(we were both lvl 57)go to kq.....he got 1 hit and i did a 7 hit and died :cry: also when i used to pk and when i see pures pking and call me a pray noob or a def noob.i probably have a lot more...but school time

being really incredibly bored doing shadow of the storm and deciding to follow a kq pair and seeing them with like 5hp left...i died before them though :( lol

Whenever im getting attacked by a high lvl monster when I am wearing my armour. Most recently the sea troll queen, I couln't find mage protect on the new prayer list. She got me into single digit health before I found the prayer and ate some food, man that what close.

also a time when i was maging at daggy kings, everyone else had tellied cos zyao had died (the fool), anyway prime dropped a mudstaff and it was zyao's drop but he cudn pick it up cos he died, as i was maging i was last there and when i saw it i just ran for it, sold for 2.9mill \

 

 

 

 

 

also just got archer ring, thank you supreme \

knowing that i have lvls in the bank.. Like 85 smithing and 99 fm for examples.. :) in rl this girl in school gets my heart racing ... LOL :P

My hearts been racing most of today and some of yesterday, while i was killing the high levels for the 4 diamonds for desert treasure.

 

 

 

Also, when im in the wilderness im always all shakey, plus when i get a good drop from a monster. :pray:

for me, it's whenever i'm at a really cool drop party, I see something red pop up on the group after I kill something (darn rubies!!), and whenever im about to open up a casket from a clue

Taking on the queen in Swan Song. The guide mentioned something about draining prayer. Figured it just meant 10 or so points. Turns out, it drains it to 0. Couldn't drink pots fast enough (and didn't think about eating in the rush) to pray for more than a few seconds before my prayer was drained again. Needless to say, I died. Didn't lose much of worth bar my obsidian shield (which the cape protects over...).

TT in wild, i get mad, member's wild is crazy!

Used to be dragon drops, but got over that *points to sig*... Although if I get any more chains or a 2h (The only Dragon drop I'm yet to get) then it'll start.

 

 

 

Strangely enough, at abyssals it only seems to go when I get a drop that LOOKs like a whip (Black sword) and when I get a whip I'm just like "Oh, ok"

 

 

 

Pking if I'm in dharoks or fighting someone in a barrows set =P Or If I've just come back a pking break and haven't pked in a while so I'm not used to it.

Never get that feeling anymore unfortunatly, well except for when I did a full drag dm (when chains were 38M) and we were both no food and under 30 hp

 

he I then hit like 9 0 0 0 0 4 1 to win, was pathetic. Lucky I didnt get hit and every 0 i saw for me my heart skipped a beat, every 0 for him i sighed. Very VERY strange moment.

Hm, actully it would have to be when I see something on the ground like a really, really good drop, or something that someone dropped when they died. Im usally like "omg im gonna be so rich!" then boom, it dissapears :wall:
