What do you think the most respected 99 cape will be?

Featured Replies

Wait, were judging respect by how much free time someone has?

none of them, anyone can get 99 in a skill of they waste enough time

still id say agility(boring and long time to train) slayer(people rarely train past 85), or thieving(lots of boring training)

The economy is run by 13 year olds. Inflation hits when their girlfriends dump them. Besides, in any normal economy an influx of new items is a good shot in the arm.

only 30 some ppl will have the construction cape

and im included in them 30 ppl :)

RUNECRAFTING IS THE HARDEST SKILL TO GET TO 99 IN RUNESCAPE.

It takes over 500 hours of runecrafting to get to 91. Not to mention with the new prices of rune ess, it takes over 70 mil. Imagine getting to 99. 1200 hours of crafting, and like 120mil.

By far the hardest skill in the game.

you arent very bright. from lvl 44 on its easy, just have friends or random people run you pure ess in exchange for nats, do it till laws, then switch to either laws or keep doing nats, you could probably do it within days

funny how all the people who say stuff like that have low runecrafting, its much harder than you think, its either (now) about 12gp per xp going to fast free laws, or get about 10k xp an hour making cash doing nats.

agility cape  (i hope i can get str one or quest one those are me two closest) :(

all of the capes im getting will be equal, but one will be more equal than the others 8-)

Farming :3>

There are skills that you can buy your way into, and it will take no time to 99, there are skills that you cant buy your way into, their hard, but awarding, and there is a skill that you can buy your way into, you dont get anything back, and it still takes loads of time.

I agree up to the 120m part, you can pratically make all your money back with nats if you hire runners, i am sure they'll be happy to run ess for you if you keep only say 5 out of 50 nats.

I personally think that the hardest 99 to get is slayer as it requires many hours of work, and not one bit of exp can be bought

I disagree with that :P Certain people got 99/85 slayer a lot faster because they had the gp available to buy hundreds of thousands of cannonballs. Whereas others had to get there without the use of cannonballs.

Anyway, I think the most respected will just be all of the uncommon/hard/expensive skills to get to 99 (almost everything other than attack, strength, defence, hit points, woodcutting, fishing, fletching, cooking...)

- 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting -

- 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming -

- Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

prayer without a doubt, herblore without a doubt, and definetly agility, because who has the patience to get 99 agility

I don't see why people keep saying cooking and fletching are easy 99 skills, what if you've cut all the logs and fished all the fish to get 99 in the respective skills, is it still easy then?

Slayer, prayer, smithing, thieving, runecrafting.

Mining/Agility/Herblore/Smithing IMO.

I have no intrest in helping "keyers" farm xp.

but not many do that they simply go buy the materials.. Cooking is fast exp over 200k an hr (so is fm but not many have it)... so don't see its not easy... fletching has the most people with 99 out of all the noncombat skills and Cooking is no 2... So don't say they aren't very easy to train.. if they have the 2 highest number of 99's for Noncombat then they must be pretty easy compared to the rest

1593th to 99 Farming - July 08.

Farming, go on just look how many people have 99 farming.

Its 54 btw

Farming is a very buyable skill. You just have to have enough money for magic seeds and the like, and it would be just a matter of time. Time spent doing somthing else while they wait for their xp trees to grow. Construction can be done in a very short time if you pour enough money into it, as can runecrafting, prayer, smithing, herblore, crafting... ect. The only two truly difficult and unbuyable skills are theiving and agility, the latter being far more time consuming and boring.

I think Herblore is. Last time I checked, less than 100 people have 99 herblore.

Which is why I'm going for it! 29 levels to go >.<
