November 16, 200619 yr ...Moreover, it seems that many of the newer skills (or new options in old skills) are more difficult for money-buy-exp methods (though con is money-buy-exp indeed). This is not correct. Although you do point to construction as an exception, Farming is a money-buy-exp skill as well. You buy super-expensive tree seeds, and leave it alone. Same goes for herblore. You can go around buying herbs, seconds and vials, getting 100K+ xp/hour if your level is high enough. You can't level mining any faster with more money. You can't level fishing any faster with more money. You can't level woodcutting any faster with more money. More and more of Jagex's newest releases are "pay-to-level faster". Why anyone thinks Hunting will be different is beyond me. Construction was different only in that it was an actual cash-eater (billions of gp leaving the game permanently). The only real question is whether Construction was a harbinger of cash-eating yet pretty cool and complicated skills, or if the cash-eating was a one time aberration. In my mind there is no doubt you will be able to buy your way to fast Hunting levels.
November 16, 200619 yr I From the new Tzhaar guide. TzHaar-Xil (Level 133) Even men of stone must eat, and the job of hunting their food falls to the TzHaar-Xil. They are excellent fighters, and beyond the talents of most adventurers. They are the darkest in colouring, which no doubt aids them in hunting their prey. The TzHaar enjoying preying on large mammals and rodents that, like the TzHaar, are strong enough to burrow through the hard volcanic rock. TzHaar-Xil can be found throughout the city. Large mammals and rodents that burrow through the hard volcanic rock!!! Could Tzhaar finally be opened? Or at least another part of it? This sounds like it'll DEFFINIATLY be a new hunting area! :D Hmm, Ill be looking forward to hunting in a matter of proving my theory about the Tzhaar. TzHaar hunting ground should be cool, I think this will be a higher level area if it comes out. Interrested in joining the cabbagy madness? November 17, 200619 yr all this talk about " being ready " for the release of hunting.. now get real.. how could you seriously be ready for something you have NO idea about.. Well I'm getting ready by doing some toe touches, work out my hammies, do some push ups. My character's been getting too fat from sitting around his house all day, eating freshly stolen cake from Ardougne (Hasn't seen the cook in about a week....)
November 17, 200619 yr i actully saw a thread on the official forums way back a little before construction came out, and it was labeled Hunting. What i think jagex is doing is goin to have this aid your home in like taxidermy, or maybe animals to roam your house (dont go on my posh furniture) Beware of the Sara Trio
November 17, 200619 yr When hunter comes out you guys better watch out for _ick cheney :ohnoes:  :XD: Quit RuneScape :)

November 17, 200619 yr i doubt the random event camo clothing would help at all, unless jagex had them in shops, because that would be really unfair since u get the from a random event, and ppl like me have never had that event, so either its not gonna do anything, or they're gonna be made tradeable again or sold in a shop (most likely not gonna do anything tho)
November 17, 200619 yr Just found something in KB about Hunting  "Armour you can store: Hunter camouflage gear :P I remember seeing Fur-trimmed range armour in there to, it looked like as if it was a Treasure trail reward... :-k No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
November 17, 200619 yr The camo gear which you can store is most likely different "outfits" depending on what you're hunting. From the Chaos Elemental letter last month: Dress up big like a flappy bird, happy bird Hunter strong when the ferrets herd, heretic̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s word Basicly, we have to dress up as a bird to try and "fit in" and get their guard down before we catch them. This will be one of the many different methods invovled in hunting. 95% sure anyway, and the Camo stuff that was mentioned to be stored was a set of this, so in this case it'd be a bird outfit (Most probably south the Feldip hills)
November 17, 200619 yr I think from that camouflage evidence from the knowledge base that we will have a "Visibility" percentage (kind of like on splinter cell) and the higher this is the more likely you are to be seen and be unable to catch the hunted prey.
