tefda
I'd have to agree with those saying that Agility is repetitive and I agree with those who've said that Agility is useful. I myself do not always teleport to every single location, instead I do run quite often and I hate having no energy so Agility is very important. Also if you're not always a member having that bit of extra Energy regeneration is going to give you the edge in a great deal of things.
Paul00
Oh and for the repetitive, After awhile it becomes routine and is neither fun or boring. 645th to 99 Agility. I'm always up for a good chat, feel free to pm.
Ghost-Knigth
Agility is boring. Simple. Walking around all the time. 99 ranged | 99 magic | 99 defence | 99 hitpointsRemember, it's just a gameFeel free to add me on RS. :) Always ready for a chat. swampjedi
It amazes me that Agility is in the bottom of my skills bracket. It's a perfect skiller skill. Heh. It's not that I hate agility, but that I haven't gone on an agility spree yet. My Goals and Achievements

n64jive
Agility can't be bought easily, therefore its not as easy to gain levels, therefor not as many people have high agility levels. Agility returns nothing in terms of money back...i myself love the advantages of agility, but because its extremely repetative to get to those levels... Fishing is also repetative but to train it, you make money. Woodcut is the same way.
Freesia
The only few of the lvls where agility is at its worst is at the time you have no choice but to go to gnome stronghold. Agility is still ok for me, only when i feel pissed off that i run out of energy all the time is when i will plan to train it Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. Shaddd
But, Very few people actually go from 1-99 without buying it. Agility is a very respectable skill for the sake you can't buy it. Skills Like: Slayer, Thief, Wood Cut, and Fishing. Are all like this and they are repetitive, and people train those skill a lot. So why not agility? Edit: Go to Gnome Course in the Grand Tree area for level 1 area. There are quite a few different places to woodcut, different things toslay, etc. But with Agility, you have 2 options: Ape, or wilderness. No excitement, at all. -_-
Justin742
I like agility and while I'm only 55 right now I'm working on it. It is for sure one of the best skills to get 99 at since you cant buy it. Like Fletching, Cooking, Woodcutting and Firemaking. Retefael
agility is long, slow, and generally boring to train. sure, at higher levels its a great benefit, but only the most hardcore rs'ers will actually sit down and train it straight. that's just amazing for me to imagine :? I don't run races to see who's the fastest, I run to see who has the most guts. -PreCurrently the best beat out there:Minuit jacuzzi (DatA Remix) - TEPR

Tennis_Ace
For me, when I cast High Level Alchemy, I also train agility at the Brimhaven Agility Arena. I get about 8 spells in between each pillar, and it is a nice change from the boring concepts of just agility or just magic alone.
Siriuz_Tk
Skills Like: Slayer, Thief, Wood Cut, and Fishing. Are all like this and they are repetitive, and people train those skill a lot. So why not agility Slayer is not repetitive at all :S slayer is made so combat training WONT be killing one thing and staying in the same spot for days straight. Paul00
Uhhh..... If your over 70 at Ape Atoll you don't use food. Also, I know 2 people who have the Pirate hook, I plan to get one after 99. Slayer is just killing over and over, yes it does have more rewards and such but its still the same thing over and over. 645th to 99 Agility. I'm always up for a good chat, feel free to pm. Climb the net, silde down the chute, walk the log, climb the net, slide down the chute walk the log clmib the net... Repeat until you die.... It is very repetitive.... At least in slayer you can train melee, then range then magic..... I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. Paul00
I wasn't saying that Agility is not repetitive it is, I was just saying Slayer is more repetitive then people say. :( 645th to 99 Agility. Rebdragon
Oh my, people are avoiding doing something they don't want to do! It's an epidemic! (Currently, I can't figure out if this post on Runescape players is sarcasm or not. Probably never will.) Jard_Y_Dooku
I like agility. One of the best skills IMO. Level 71 and in my opinion, too low. Never trust anyone. zelda_ot
Skills Like: Slayer, Thief, Wood Cut, and Fishing. Are all like this and they are repetitive, and people train those skill a lot. So why not agility Agility is like walking from point A to point B but receiving XP. So the question is, how many players like to walk? Teleports anyone? Another point is you can train ALL the above skills while having a conversation with the next person AND make money. You can't exactly hold a conversation with agility and when you reach 99 you make 0gp. LEGENDS MAY SLEEP BUT THEY NEVER DIE

I feel this is the big dividing line, training agility serves NO purpose other than..training agility. Other skills have secondary benefits from training them. Even the ill-favored Herblore.
