Then 8/3/05. When Runescape Classic died. F2P closed.

 

 

 

it was because they changed the looks of females... they made the females anorexic. but about 3 days later they made females a bit fatter to not be anorexic

 

 

 

I checked it and it turns out you are right, I didn't pay to much attention to the updates back then, I was just glad you could change your appearance because I thought I never would get the 3k needed for a haircut.

probally when rs2 came out...mainly because thats when i joined the game xD

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i kept looking at it and thinking "What in the hell does that mean?"

when i started to read the updates... i can remember it had sometyhjing to do with priest in pearl... (i think the release of canafis etc) but i duno sure... also when they 1st released water bird island...

Biggest change I remember was the addition of banks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before then, all you had was what you could carry in your inventory. Best update they ever made, and as such, the most memorable for me :)

i remember slayer, farming, con, hunter and all holiday items since the yoyo

Priest in Peril, it was the quest that was released on the week that I joined RS. I didnt have members till april this year, but it was one of the first quests i have done.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One i remember was when they had it so for a week or so you could get a haircut change your clothes and stuff for free only been playing about 2 years now...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I remember that! He, I changed my clothes from a tatty old tramp to a nice tidy person :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My favpurite though has to be the Santa in 2004, Easter in 2005 (rubber chickens FTW!) & POH, would've been Sycth also BUUUUT, I started playing Runescape 4 days after they removed dropping them :(

My most remembered update is the dragon slayer and then.... p2p in general

Also I remember when RS2 came out and I logged in and I saw none of my equipped items (i.e. Rune Platebody, Rune Legs, etc.) and I got really upset because I had 'lost' all of my items when they were actually on the equipment page. :oops:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Those are the ones I remember the best, the first one (Underground Pass) because that was when I said "Wow, I've got to become a member" (Which I didn't become one until much later). The second one because it was coupled with the Jagex Paintball Photo and the last one because it was embarrassing to me. :lol:

the MOST memorable one is rs2, but ones that come to mind are dragon2h and canoes cause i thought f2p could get em both :wall:

when rune came out! I was still in addy because i wasnt rich enough for rune. RSC FTW

Mine: I remember the update when you could finally see people's combat levels outside of the Wilderness (RSC). As well as sleeping bags (Also RSC). Umm, When RS2 came out, Construction and Hunter skills, I wasn't a member for the other things, nor was I playing a lot for a bit over a year.

OOOO! Good and bad magic, good and bad prayer. Was cool how you could choose a good or bad prayer or magic. I remember carpentry as well. Tailoring to. Most of these got scraped pretty quick though.

I remember the release of the magic training arena....

First I'd have to list Pest Control. On the first day i used to use the "fire making glitch" to get on top of the mage and use my Easter ring so it would look like everyone was protecting an egg. Mage training was another memorable induction into the game as it provided the first cool mage experience gaining opportunities as I was frustrated with training magic on monsters. Finally the swan song quest was one of my favorites since it offered a new alternative to the manogany of lobster/shark fishing.

when barrows came out and no one knew what full guthans did, shouldve seen the price fluctuation on a chart - it'd remind you of a guy having a heart attack

ahh good old farming.. It was packed east of draynor. I decided to plant a potatoe seed or something and got my lvl too 2 and was happy and went to cw

i remember when farming came out...i was a level 26 and enjoyed reading the guides on the KB and on Tip.It. ah the days of when i dreamed of being a member...but i hate farming now :P

The day f2ps got addy arrows and maple bows =D>

One of the only things I remember of my time playing on my old account during 2001 was the update that turned bones to bread into bones to bananas. It was apparently overpowered.

 

 

 

I really wish I remembered the username for that account, simply for nostalgia purposes. :(
