ValaraZ
The only change in prices I foresee is going to be on treasure trail items. Due to the larger variety of rewards, every reward is going to be much more rare. Should have bought my duplicate ranger set after I got the guthan spear before today. I'm sure ranger sets are pretty much doubled now. I'm not really good at merchant decisions. lol I have to disagree, i'm expecting robins to go down as there are other ranged stat enhancers. Not sure about their stats yet as no one has them but i strongly think that robin's era is ending. To author, d-chain will not drop 10m lol. It's foolish to even think that. Economy won't be ruined, all those 13-year olds will have a few more items to merchant now and the pressure from barrows etc might relieve a bit therefore steading the prices. That's what i hope at least. Once someone gets the 3rd age armor set complete, he will make a pretty penny out of it BUT the prices will crash soon enough. Funny noticing that it affected the price of santas, down bu 2m :D Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant: "If I live, I will kill you, If I Die, you are forgiven." Such is the Rule of Honor. mrsir17
it only really effects you if you are a less than smart merchant, buying all the new items, or an over eager player spending 30 million on a dragon axe :-s goal:1000 total f2p lvls. dawarriorpk1
tc your a little late, the barrows armour are all better than dragon, the only dropped a mill or so, but thats because the drop rates for it went up, your like 3 months too late as a matter of fact there ISN'T anything more important than pking
Wachtwoord
Do you know the difference between crahs and change?? The economy will change, not crash there is a difference. Lep
Why is everyone freaking out about Dragon? How in the world would it possibly lower? From what I've heard, no one knows the stats of the new armor which is probably lower than Dragon. Isn't it? Though, I sold my Chain long ago anyhow so it doesn't affect me. :
Rcty
A dragon chainbody will still be respected, and I doubt many people will really think of a price crash at it as much as an increase on the God armor. Don't get me wrong, it could happen, it's just nowadays people seem to go directly at the new items. ~Rcty Rcty
Melkolmr
It won't be a big deal in a little while, most likely. If I'm wrong, though, someone PM me when I can pick up a D chain for 2K...

Adam007
If one item goes up and another goes down, I don't see how the economy's crashing. A section or item of the economy might be, but don't generalize like that.
Stilev
lol, i think your over reacting with "crash the economy" its not crashing the econamy its just a natural part of runescape, so dont panic over it :ohnoes:
Fail_o_holic
Can anyone stay stop whining and go do some clues? I mean I'm not pleased that the composite mage bow is selling for 1.1m, but that's all the more incentive to get it myself. Updates are inevitable because the majority of rs players are greedy kids always wanting more. If a new drop comes out, don't whine that your outdated stuff isn't top-line anymore. Gear up and get yourself the new stuff. Prices won't stabilise until enough of the new items have been obtained, so put on your depreciating barrows/dragon/whatever armour (or buy it now that it's down), get loot hunting, and stop whining about the natural flow of the economy. Fix the problem yourself. I'd highly suggest slayer monsters (jelly and up). - Pfft, my goals are FAR too "fluid" (ie. I have ADD) to be recorded in my sig. deuteronomy_af
Uh-oh. Can anybody tell me if the price of Dragon platelegs has gone down, cuz I bought a pair last weekend, and I don't wanna lose any money. I can't check right now because my sis is using the com puter with the technology On-To pic - I think that dragon might go down some, but it won't be an ex ponential crash, the God armor won't stay at the price that they are now. ldbh2o
The economy is run by 13 year olds. Inflation hits when their girlfriends dump them. Besides, in any normal economy an influx of new items is a good shot in the arm. You, sir, deserve an award. Smartest thing I have seen in a while. The economy is far from screwed. Stop whining because you don't have the money to buy everything after a week of runescape. Go work and ignore 'the bad updates.'
icedearth06
Er, some more whining about some updates. The market hasn't crashed. It has merely fallen. The price of items will drop, some will go higher, but eventually it will all go back to normal. One of these days I'm gonna make a line graph to stop all this nonsense. #-o Clustering up the forums with foolishness I think. Most T.T. rewards are pointless anyways. I see no reason for a Magic Composite Bow to be 1M. But, then again, most new items are worthing millions when they should only be worth hundreds of thousands. :) More Tip.it Friends Needed! anonymouse_
Just sold my chain for 14.8M. It's pretty hard to sell them now and if the new armor gives +5 str like someone said, you can expect drag to drop.
