Can't combine capes and accumulators. They both must be equipped in cape slot to function.

this can make agility a bit more rewarding... u run around and get arrows.

It is useful, as Niels said, while doing agility. I'll also be using it while I'm doing my daily world tour to farm, get manage thy kingdom up,... And of course, when you're going out to range, since it gives a range bonus as well. It's a handy extra, no one ever has enough arrows.

im not so sure we need melee updates, but some mage would be absolutely awesome! w00t! \

The +4 Range bonus in itself makes getting the accumulator worth it. The Fire cape was previously the only cape that gave ranged attack bonus; +1; but now there's somthing that gives more. Sweet Jagex. But it would have been REALLY nice if it automatically picked up your arrows...

Where does this thing collect arrows from?

its magnetic, it picks up lost arrows and other metilic items you might pass by.

Play Castle Wars with it! Every time you die, you get your Run energy back, and go charging out again, and a few more arrows for you.

Scrap that.

We have to be running around with it, or would say firemaking get me some arrows?

i've been testing with the device alittle bit:

 

 

 

 

 

 

the rate at which you get arrows however doesn't depend on the distance you pass but on the time! I've tested it with 500 arrows walking and running:

 

 

 

running took me exactly 1796 seconds (= 30 minutes and 6 seconds) to collect them.

 

 

 

while walking it took me: 1737 (=28 minuts and 57 seconds) to get 250 arrows..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the difference is minimal and I think it's about 500 arrow/hour!

 

 

 

seems no real money making method.. but it might be handy if you're training your ranging (started with 50 arrows which slowly became more if I pick up my arrows).

yay finally i made a post on runescape forums talking about capes that gives bonus to range got like 300 replies then it died

it not only gives steel arrows.. i have got so far, steel arrows, steel knives. steel darts.. and a steel bar =P

Looks like a fun quest and a nice item if the arrow thing is true may even have to do it :shock:

I never use iron/steel arrows, so I definitely won't try to accumulate as many as possible. I'll use this for the +4 range bonus, but the ammo generation is really just a nuisance if you have to keep clearing ammo out of your inventory.

uhm read my previous post.. it's not 1 per minut.. but 1 per about 7 seconds..
