The main reason for people to have full banks is because of the countless number of randoms that gives clothing. Jagex should cut back on the number of randoms that give clothing to be honest. If they are going to make new randoms, they should avoid making ones that gives clothing as a reward. I prefer to have more evil chickens, mazes and any other type of non-clothe reward giving random. This should hopefully help reduce the problems with new players needing more bank space. Anyways back on topic, no I don't think non-members require more bank space but instead Jagex need to fix and make new type randoms. Because bank space will only temporarily fix this problem if Jagex is going to add more clothe reward giving randoms. If you complete the random event... it's kind of like rewarding non-autoers... :-k They'll keep putting more random events to disrupt autoers(and our concentration). Free-players will need more bankspace soon. Jagex can't expect everyone to have US$5. They should at least keep us happy. For a while. Jagex don't have to update the free-player world as they're not getting anything inreturn until we get fed up with the game and finally get membership. It's a marketing stategy. But they have to keep players playing. Or their profits can only go down. I expect they won't give us the bankspace soon. Possibly late 2007. There is hardly anything we can do. Just hope for the best, do what must be done, get rid of your prized chef's hats(don't stress it's only a image) and hope for the best. :pray: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

To people like Adam007: If it bothers you so much to see these posts, then perhaps you would be better off just ignoring them. The people posting constructive stuff here are trying to have a real interaction. Sorry if that put you off your lunch, or something. However, as has been said in most of the posts above, I reckon the chances of us getting any more space are very small indeed and we can't really complain too much as we aren't paying Jagex anything for the game. And I think as a f2p myself that the bank space given to us is more than enough. I even have like 10 spare slots there. Besides we don't need so much space there because there's not much to do in f2p anyways.. Well, it would be nice, but it's not highly needed. The point is that players stack way too many stuff in their bank: probably 1.5 row is filled with various runes. use them or, if you don't need them, sell it. You can buy it back when you're gonna train magic or pk or something. Same goes for arrows. And if you're not training combat, why do you need full d-hide, full rune and mage robes? Next, burn/sell the logs, smelt/sell the ore, smith/sell bars, etcetera etcetera. And if you're not using them, you could just as well sell your rod/axe/tinderbox/pickaxe. As the inflation isn't too big in Runescape, you could just buy them back whenever you need it. Most of the millions being made in the internet industry is through advertising. I am not sure how much a slot goes for a very high trafficing page but I would be willing to bet anything that the revenues that the advertising on the F2P side is considerably more that the 5 bucks a month per member. You need alot of things when training diffrent skills, and if you don't want to throw away stuff, your bank will soon be full. This make you lose alot of money. Before, it wasn't that much of a problem because we didn't have frog clothes, drill demon clothes, lederhosen, mime, and zombie clothes. If you got all 5 sets, around 21 bank spaces will be used up. Add in the everyday armor you need and that's pretty much your entire bank used up. We're not even talking about runes, arrows, logs, or ores... They have to pay the people who work at Jagex. Ads make a lot of money for Runescape because advertisers realize the number of people that play Runescape and who will see the adverts.
