Games which you love, but could never win.

I could never get past level four of SOCOM: US Navy Seals, that game had too many options, so I just gave up on it.

I never beat quite a few games lol, heres some I can think of:

Super Mario 64-I have 84 stars or something and then gave up lol.

Bomberman (can't remember which one)-I'm on the second to last boss though! Its these three cat ladies who all attack at once, really difficult.

Quest 64-Such a fun game when I was 8 cause I had no idea what I was doin lol. I am on what I believe is the final boss... but hes so damn hard!

Final Fantasy 3- On the Crystal Tower... that should change by either the end of tonight, or maybe the end of tomarrow hopefully!

Final Fantasy 7-I was 8 when I played it, also had no idea what I was doing... It doesn't help I only had the demo though lol, I thought it was the real game. Now I realise how stupid I was for replaying it 20 times thinking I did something wrong. #-o

99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving.

Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.

Alien vs. Predator: Much too scary, but an incredibly well-designed game. There's no real other horror-action game that had as much effect on me.

Humans: I actually have beat this. It's a puzzle game (exceptional music, and adequate (but easy) puzzle design make it my favourite puzzle game ever), and since I had a special edition there were like 160 levels. However, at about level 120, the level was broken. It took over a decade (I'm not even joking...we got it in 1994 and I beat it in holiday 2005), with many reinstalls all trying to beat that level. And I did all I thought I needed to do but it wouldn't end, so I guess it was broken (I cud beat every other of the 159 levels just fine, but not that one). So I just found the level code online (almost impossible to find) and continued.

Dark Forces: I've beat this more than any game ever, but never without using codes. I figure though, I'm not missing that much. And it would be simple if the controls were mouse+keyboard, but since it's keyboard only, it's clunky. So invincible more is nice :).

Super Mario Bros 3: IMO, the very best of the Mario games, but I've never actually beaten it. I've pretty much only played the first world, but I can do them extremely well (almost just like the guy who beats it in 11 minutes). The level design is so neat, it really is just fun to play those levels.

Final Fantasy 8 - couldn't beat the final boss, I usually could kill the first form, and win the beast, but sometimes died from when they joined together, and rarely got past that.. i guess i needed to level up a bit, but that was like 8 years ago, i watched the ending on my brothers computer though

Final Fantasy 10 - I remember I couldn't beat the final boss for this either because I rushed the game (rented it and it was due in only a week) and I had like a day to kill the final boss, I kept on easily dying so I just quit and watched the walkthrough videos and endings for it on youtube (same with ffx-2)

battle toads off of super nintendo :s

The original Mario 64- Never was able to defeat the final bowser, though I was only 10 or 11 when I quit.

Secret of Mana- beat whats his face but was too weakened to defeat the boss that attacked immediatly after him and was killed almost instantly cause I was out of supplies as well. After that I pretty much gave up lol.

Legend of Dragoon- I don't really have an excuse for this one, I got to the last disc and got bored with it so I started playing something else.

I'm sure there are many more, though I can't think of them at the moment.

I doubt anyone would have heard of these games, but: it's a Chinese (Taiwanese, from memory) RPG game series called Sword of the Emperor. The gameplay and graphics were stunning, but I couldn't read a single word of a dialogue. Hopeless, but fun nonetheless. Hence, couldn't get to the end and solve the 'worded' puzzles. Raargh.

Worms armaeggadon( forgive my spelling) under missions from ps1, there was this mission where i had to throw grenades towards a worm which is hidden under thick layers of earth, possible to bomb my way in, i only have 5 minutes <.<

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

starfox 64 well i couldnt get all the medals...but hey....i was only 7 that time :x

No. Why should i give presents for someone in rs?

Most selfish thing I've ever heard

Roller Coaster Tycoon, the original and number 2.

I could only beat like 3 scenarios, I still don't even know what half of those scenarios look like.

But maybe that's because I usually played around on the free Arid Heights, after I leveled the land and made grass, and did whatever I wanted to. :P :)

Me doing staff.

I got addicted to the game where you keep the Helicopter in the air for a while without letting it crash. I could never get past like 3000... one of these days...

 :o

Go play it again and win! Seriously! The ending is awesome! Then, if you get into the game again, try to get all 120 stars!

Once I was up around the 6,000 mark and low and behold - up came a bit of terrain that was LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get through. There was only one gap and it was smaller than the heli :(

I wasn't impressed by that.

Pikmen.

I loved throwing them. But I could never win because of the time limit. And on top of that they kept getting set on fire, drowning, getting eaten, falling off ledges, etc...

I love that game! For the longest time I did what you described, but then I actually played it. Sometimes it's just fun to mess around though.

I got it again on the DS, but I got rid of the original with my 64 a long time ago.
