May 3, 201016 yr I only succesfully pugged ZF once. Beware. It has an annoying layout.That's probably my favorite instance to pug. But: if someone wants to "take a shortcut"; dont, you will probably still aggro everything in there.
May 3, 201016 yr ZF is really fun, pugged it a few times on my pally. Definitely tricky for tanks though. RANT: I made a druid to heal. I hate it when tanks think because they have one heirloom they can pull the whole instance. I was going OOM on like every pull so at the big pull in deadmines right before the pirate boss I said: "I want to top up mana, if you pull I won't heal you". Of course he pulls, dies, we wipe, then he says: "OMG YOU HAD 30% MANA THATS FINE11111" and then I get vote kicked. Good fight. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti

Luckily as a paladin I have enough AoE tanking abilities to make the fight on the stairs manageable. May 6, 201016 yr Ran my own pug last night for ICC 10, aiming for 10/12. Went pretty badly, we wiped on lootship because we had some idiot rogue from one of the worst guilds on the server who was basically trolling the whole time and started it early. May 6, 201016 yr we wiped on lootship :ohnoes: Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

May 8, 201016 yr A lot has happened since my last post :D I dinged 80 on my elemental shammy, currently gearing up, got 4/5 T9 and some other welfare purples.Ran ToC with my (Casual) guild which was pretty fun. May 8, 201016 yr As I've taken a break from WoW since before ICC 2nd wing came out, I'm rather interested to get back into it again to see the rest of ICC. @Brad, with the weekly raid quest (5 frost emblem reward) you'll get to see plenty of other raids besides ICC, personally Ulduar was the best raid in LK expansion. May 10, 201016 yr ulduar is amazing. i don't understand how it looks better and plays better than ICC or TOC but it just does every fight is so fun, especially how their hardmode worked. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
May 10, 201016 yr TOC is too short to really be an "epic" raid I think. One of the things that made ulduar so good is it isn't just about gear or dps. Obviously ICC isn't all like that but a lot more so than ulduar. When I went the first time, the raid leader from my guild described it pretty aptly: "Ulduar is a giant pay attention raid". It's really true, even on the easy fights you have to constantly pay attention, because there are so many different abilities and things to be aware of. I think that's what makes it so different. May 10, 201016 yr I liked my guild's first attempt at XT hardmode in 10 uld (we dont read guides till after day 1 attempt) and didnt know what went wrong. We were wtfpwned lol. This of course with us all being 5k gs and just failing like that haha. Proves my point, skill>gearscore. Of course a skilled player would need good gear to do well in ICC areas i would assume. May 12, 201016 yr Fire spec is SO much more fun than Arcane for mages. Have been using it for a month or so now. Had 8.5k DPS in VoA earlier, this is in mainly ToC25 gear with an odd bit of ICC10 gear. Shame I've yet to be in a decent group to ICC10 on my mage to really test it there.
