October 12, 201015 yr Having a lot of fun leveling my paladin, level 25 now. I specced protection for tanking. People are [developmentally delayed]ed as always. Some examples in the 3 days I've been doing dungeons: - Healers going AFK without telling the group- every other mob.- Rogues stealthing and running ahead of me often pulling packs because they get detected. And they do it every single time.- DPS pulling mobs. Most of the time it's no problem but it pisses me off. And they do it every time. One time a hunter asked the group what pulling was.- A DPS shaman told us he was resto specced but didn't want the pressure of healing an instance so he only cued as DPS.Just follow the simple "if they want to tank let them tank" policy.I don't like to put extra strain on the healer, especially when chainpulling. About 2 hours ago a hunter asked me if he should turn off growl. This was right before the final boss. In the same group the mage kept pyroblasting mobs, the cat druid kept pulling additional packs and the healer was auto-attacking mobs I pulled because I didn't drop to 10% health every 2 seconds. I don't dare to cue any more. EDIT: And the hunter was telling me how to play my class. "You shouldn't use judgement of wisdom". Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

This is what makes me a bit axnious about my plans on starting anew on a new server (when the next patch hits in November), I need to find a decent guild that I can level with - fast. I've had my share of PUG nightmare runs and [bleep] that noise.

October 12, 201015 yr 31 point trees, have to spend all 31 points in a tree before you can put point in any others. At level 10 you specialise in a tree, you get some abilities unique to that tree and some "bonuses" too (like fire damage for fire mages). Then you're locked into that tree, like I said until you put 31 points in it. They removed a lot of useless talents and the new trees are meant to have more variety in what you can pick, that along with the glyph system should reduce the number of clones going around. It's great, every class pretty much is getting a complete makeover in lots of ways.
October 12, 201015 yr Author Heh maybe I don't understand it all then. It seems like if you get locked into a tree until its filled out it would it would lower choices? Seems like it would kill a lot of the classic 30/0/31 rogue builds and such.
October 12, 201015 yr There's only 51 points total now. And the highest talent is the 31 point talent in each tree. A lot of the crap has been cut out so really there's not much difference. And those sort of builds you mentioned are what they're trying to get rid of, they feel people should feel the need to get the 31 point talent before going elsehwere. Also the fact that when you specialise into that spec you get that specs signature skill(s) it makes more sense. (Fire mages get Pyroblast for example). Means lower level levelling is awesome too, as at 10 you might have an ability that's useful! You pretty much alternate between new skill and talent point as you level up now too, at least at the start. And with spell ranks being removed (skills become stronger with your level automatically) it should make levelling feel much much better.

I crit for 800+ with my avenger's shield, my holy wrath deals a [cabbage]load of damage, I don't need to spam blessings any more and I have an instaheal that heals me for half my hp. And all this at level 33. So far, I'm either blown up in two hits unless I blow them up first, or I use it on DoTs (which I just wipe clean with Cloak of Shadows). I only really use it if for some reason I got stuck in a Pally's Consecrate or a druid's Thorns, and I'm at 85% health or something. It's meh. So, basically Earthysun is Jesus's only son.
