  1. We know they'll do it eventually, after all, they even had it on people before the update, just not everyone.
  2. Glove? Is there other stuff to? I've only got the snowglobe and emote. :-s 'twas a typo. He meant globe.
  3. ;) And if someone fix it, it will last some xtra minutes, And if someone bless your gravestone, u got an hour. almost, every few minutes you friends need to bless it, up to a hour (so if you have the 5 minutes gravestone, you need a friend who bless it every minute, then you can get up to a hour to come there....) :-$ 70 prayer is required, if you didn't know. I enjoy having the gravestone, but do you lose items slowly? like every minute you lose the least valuable item? No, no you don't. Also, it's the restless ghost quest. Ghost Ahoy is members only and lets you access port phantasmys
  4. Christmas. The week after is Christmas eve, so there may not be an update. No clue about the last one, except it IS new year's eve, so...
  5. Idea: Use Grand Exchange to extremely inflate prices of something (I.E. Bronze warhammer) to the point where it's worth 100K or so. That way you just have to make a few, and use them as 100K in trade value.
  6. If you've done Giant Dwarf (and are member) then Keldagrim. If not, or are f2p, the guy in Lumby Church
  7. the crystal saw is your friend - Any time you have 65 for the obliette you can also use the saw for the lever.
  8. With Pk'ers mostly gone now (or soon) due to no gain from drops, wildy is now a magnificent training spot. Edit: Not against these, I suppose... But against Greaters and other things this is now no higher risk then anywhere else really...
  9. Am I the only one who noticed that law & air essence running will be dead when this goes fully live? They have 3 official worlds for these, so they acknoledge them... And they're killing them. What replace them huh?
  10. If this is what their choice is? Yes. Imagine someone's bithday in a couple months. They are medium leveled and you want to get them something on runescape. "Here, have a Dragon Longsword" "Doesn't work" "Okay then, have a rune scimitar" "Still no" "Fine, have a full set of addy armor" "Nope" "Addy plate" "nope" "full black?" "no." "What CAN I give you?" "Well, you could give me the approximate value of any of those items over the next 5 days" "I hate Jagex."
  11. They call us nerds because that's what they do. I find at my school it's generally not the jocks/cheerleaders that are the worst offenders of this (although they do it too) but rather the people who seem to be complete misfits. (I.E. bad at sports, not overly intelligent, not musicly inclined etc.) Also, I find almost EVERYBODY at school has played runescape at some time or plays WoW. So if you bring up the topic around someone and they say "Yeah, well I had a level 60 character with 500 total level" and you respond with, "Cool, my guy is level 80 with 1317 total level" the inevitable reply is, "Yeah, but I have a life, unlike you." 'nuff said.
  12. Gravestone: Runescape has encountered a fatal error. Abort program now? Y/N Or: Gravestone: A truly fatal computer error. Or: Gravestone: The stupid dragon chose "Trick." 'nuff said.
  13. Yes, as one can easily judge how the gameplay is in a game whose existence hasn't even been confirmed yet. It can't be played yet, therefore it's lacking in gameplay. It was a joke. Which seems to have flown over a lot of people's heads. (Although I suppose that can be excused since there are people on these boards who would seriously post something like that.
  14. Yes. This is why it's a good idea, before you sell a large quantity of a raw material, to buy 1 of that item for max price on the exchange and use the change you get back to determine current going price for that item. Then put all of your items at the same price or 1 lower (if possible)
  15. I was wondering if it would be possible to create a glass tank of a character. In other words, a character with: 99 Magic 99 Range 99 Defense 99 Strength 99 Attack 99 Prayer 10 Hitpoints I know 99 Magic + Prayer + 10 HP is thoroughly possible. I also know that technically, thanks to genie lamps it is POSSIBLE to make one. But is there a method that can reliably be used to obtain the stats above or similar (I.E. a method that is efficient enough to get to at least 40-50 in all skills -hitpoints.
  16. Yes, Runescape logo may not be as cool, but I find that Mechscape may have a cool logo, but it's lacking in the gameplay department.
  17. Part of it is that people generally don't get references to games they haven't played. So even though I haven't played WoW and HAVE played several other MMOs, nobody here really knows about them. (Or at least they don't know them as well.
  18. The updates aren't gettin' less exciting, you're just getting older. Having been around since RSC (Playing occasionally) I can fairly safely say that some of the more recent updates are much more interesting than some of the older ones. You can go dig through archives if you don't believe me.
  19. :P The title is Deal Tournament however, not Duel Arena. It's an easy mistake to make with such a highly important thing on the line. (I may just be trying to justify making the same mistake)
  20. Firstly: Okay. That's one problem solved. Clearly you believe that Runescape is becoming "just another fantasy game." Part of your problem is that your are only looking at what is the same. If we do that, allow me to list how this is the same to, for example, Harry Potter: There are wizards There is magic There are also people who can't cast magic (NPCs) There are basilisks There are zombies (those things at the end of book 6) There are wands There is a wizard training school There are evil wizards There are goblins There are giants There are dragons There are fan sites for it There are humans They contain fictional elements etc. Really it doesn't matter what is the same, what matters is how much is different. For example, (I've never played WoW) I'm guessing WoW doesn't have: Numerous different skill which you can change between at any point All items able to be used by all players, given sufficient levels. A solid F2P system that is more than a free trial, regardless of what people say An island ruled by penguins trying to fly so they can conquer the world A tree village where gnomes live in a massive tree, train war turtles, and brew tails Castle Wars Pest Control Sudoku (okay, maybe it does, I doubt it though) An island ruled by monkeys A wise bank-robbing old man Hunting (at least not hunting as it is in Runescape) The same magic system The same combat system at all for that matter Massive numbers of autoers who exist to cut yews (Okay, maybe that's a bad one, but still Origami balloons (THAT BURN!!!!) Runecrafting Fletching Me (Obligatory) The Underground Pass (GAH!) Quests that have the same plots The plague city ETC I'm not saying which is better, that's not the argument. The argument is that if you only look for similarities, of course the games will look similar. Their the same genre made in the same style (Fantasy plus MMORPG). That is all. Have a nice day. Yes, I do realize I also made grammar mistakes in my post, but I firmly believe it to be more comprehensible in any case.
  21. What does it matter what the "accomplished' level of money is? I like the current system because even new players can feel accomplished. They can be happy to have 1000 or 10K, while medium players feel happy with several 100K or a couple mil and advanced players are happy with 10s or 100s of millions. Plus it means greater variety of prices.
  22. What lies below, Tower of life, Rag and Bone man, hand in the sand, Making History, Scorp Catcher, Soul's Bane, Spirits of the Elid, Monk's Friend, to Dorgeshuun +another slice of H.A.M., Fairytale I (+start 2 for fairy rings) They're all fairly easy. Take your pick.
