  1. But why post the average when you can make more than the average? Instead just post the range. Lunar superheat can make 1 - 1.5 times as many molten glass.
  2. I use a mix of coal/maples at the Royal Trouble Level. (If you do royal trouble its easier to make a positive income at misc Kingdom) I have: 100% (10 workers) on Coal. 50% (5 workers) on Maples. Total of 150%. Check It everyday. I use 75k to support the Kingdom. I Make: 545 Coal, 2 Gems, 446 Maples, 4 Nests. Ok, so selling coal at 150e 545 Coal * 150e = 81,750gp Right off the bat just with the coal, you have already covered the cost of your kingdom's 75k Bill. So that means you make 6k Coins, 446 Maples, 2 Gems, 4 Nests and their Seeds all PROFIT each day. You can then chose to burn or sell the logs with no loss of money. Same with using the gems, nests and seeds. There are plenty of combinations that can be used to make money, but I suggest to make the Maples a secondary resources, and not the primary to make money.
  3. There is no easy way to make money, especially ammounts that high. All I can say is save your money and train with skills that make profit. RC, WC, Slayer, are all good options. But your not going to get that kind of money anytime soon. It will take week-months to get ammounts like that.
  4. While its not the fastest way, there is a way to train your magic and theiving at the same time. It takes a little longer, but considering your training 2 skills at once and making 2x the profit, its not to bad. Upon completing the death to the dorngshun quest you gain access to a new H.A.M area. This area is full of guards who when pickpocketed, give you keys. These keys can be used to open the chest in the room. Each chest can be opened and looted anywhere from 2-5 jewlrey, coins, or gems. This jewlrey can be anything from gold rings to diamond necklaces. Its very common to get saphire, emerald and ruby items. All of these can be aclched for 2x, and sometimes even 3x the profit. The con? It takes alittle bit to thieve the guards and loot the chests and then alch all the jewlrey. But your training 2 skills and making lots of money. Roughly 50-100k an hour easy. If you chose this, bring like 4 peices of food, for emergencies, and then a fire staff and lots of natures (200+). Its pretty fun and you can also get level 1 clues doing this if you chose to do them. However if you do the clues, it will slow down the training, but you might get lucky on some of them. This is not the best way to train each of the skills, but the best way to train some skills at the same time and make some money while having fun.
  5. No their not... Basically any Furnature in these rooms are tradeable: 1) Parlour 2) Dinning Room 3) Bedroom 4) Costume Room Any furnature NOT in one of those rooms is not flatpackable. Items like Alters, Portals, Lecturns, any Furnature not above cannot be packable. Its to slow people from cheating the levels to make useful things.
  6. From Zybez Price Guide: Death Rune: 250-300gp Nature Rune: 280-300gp Law Rune: 300-300gp Now lets take a look at this. These runes have been out for a long time. But yet the Death rune, used most for ancients, the most rc and the hardest to open the alter is the CHEAPEST? Why? Rune Prices are based on 2 things: 1) Shop Price 2) Usefulness Nobody is going to pay above the shop price for a rune in small quantaties. Thats just common sense. So when (And yes I said WHEN they come out) bloods come out, they surely wouldnt go up at all. While the crafters who make them start their boom when their released, you also must see the people USING them will increase. So it balances out. The Usefullness creates a demand, when the suppliers make a huge surplus. So infact the runes wont really go down much either. (They may on the date of release due to panic of everyone selling, but thats a different story and would settle down in time) Jagex WILL relese the Blood and Soul runes eventually. Right now their location and code is already written and planned out. Jagex is simply waiting for the right time to release them. Same with Pyffrindis. Its already made, Jagex just waits for the proper time to finish up the testing and introduce it to the game. So lucky for those crafters that are already of level to make them. When they come out they will be prepared for making their own runes cheap. But for the rest of us.. No need to worry about something thats not going to happen until It happens. Would you know to stock up on half-wines before they were elimited from the game? Had you known to stock up on planks in the winderness before con? We dont know when/what will happen, so its useless to debate about how it will effect runecrafters and such.
  7. Funny Enough. I Do actually have direct proof to show you why the monster dosent matter. I have gotten 3rd age from a clue, and funny enough it was from an anoku, the lowest monster to drop level 3's. The prizes you get are completly random, really has nothing to do with the level of monster, because a clue's prize isnt determined until you do the last step. So the level of the monster wouldnt effect it at all.
  8. I would like to add, to improve your guide, this last statement is incorrect. Quote from the KB: You cannot die from the special, but I would also add this point. Using a Ruby/Diamond bolt combination is the most effective. Once the dragon gets to 1/2 HP, blood (ruby) specials are not effective, as the special does more damage on you than the dragon. The diamond bolts special... makes them a more effective bolt to use when the dragon is under 1/2 health. Just an FYI.
  9. 1) Their last name is not Barrows. A Barrows or Barrow is a mound of dirt covering a tomb. 2) They are biological brothers as stated in the KB, but the KB does say there were only 6. If he was condemed why would it be a Hero's Memorial? :-w
  10. Intresting theroy, but no fact to back it up. 1) We dont know how items given in a TT are selected. The same is for barrows, we simply dont know the formuals. 2) For java programming this is both illogical and not realistic. In java getting a item is like a random number, some numbers have higher %'s to be given out than others, similar to drops from monsters. Now some factors such as locations *MIGHT* influence what you recieve in your clue but even if they do, they are still only 1 part of the equation. 3) Jagex dosent set a *limit* on who gets what. As pointed out above, thats now how Java works. An update does not Reset the old code. A simple test of this is show upon update days. Start killing a monster before the update, and get it to low health. Then after the update log back in and kill the same monster. You will notice it isnt full health. This shows data continues even though the coding was updated. Intresting hypothesis, but it simply dosent make sence and has no proof. We dont know what the code is, so we simply cant state how random/unrandom them are, its all hypothesis.
  11. This is the most ignored solution and yet the best. People dont focus on it because they think, AUTOERS! kill all the AUTOERS Jagex! Why dont you kill the AUTOERS? Well the auto'ers arnt the problem. The problem are the players who buy from the autoers. No players buying gold, no market, no autoers. Jagex can ban 100 autoers a day, and 300 will take their place. But instead Jagex can ban 100 players buying gold a day and Stop players from buying gold all together. I think Jagex is starting to realize this, and because of it, turn their efforts to banning players and NOT the autoers, which explains why the recent autoer boom. Jagex is killing the Players buying the gold, and because of this the autoer business is suffering. In response they are making as many bots as possible to try and choke the runescape economy to control all the gold flow. But removing the players buying the gold is the first step, not taking out the autoers. If every person helped agasint guying gold, we could solve this problem instead of complaining Jagex isnt banning fast enough.
  12. I wouldnt be supprised if this is the start up graphical movement updates. Examples: Fishing was updated not that long ago, feltching just a short time ago, now mining, I wouldnt be supprised to see WoodCutting, and other skills being updated like this shortly down the road.
  13. If you were counting as the ores begin to be mined when you first swing at it, your right, but it dosent, so your wrong. This is what happenes when you mine. As soon as you click on the rock, the animation is played and you beginning minning at the same time. At the start of the minning animation you player kinda spreads his legs and prepares to swing. Even THOUGH his pickaxes has not yet hit the ore, your still already in the process of mining it. Ive seen this with coal, I have mined a coal ore before my player even hit the rock, just because the animation starts slower, dosent effect the rate at which you start mining the ore. Its the same speed, just like fishing with your hands is the same speed as a harpoon, its just the animation makes it appear slower.
  14. I have every single one unlocked, but I cant see a reward for unlocking them as you get 90% of them unlocked already by getting a quest cape, so getting a cape/reward for unlocking 20 more songs isnt really logical. Ya its an acomplishment, but not enough to deam a reward. The reward is getting to listen to all the great music and knowing you've been everwhere in runescape
  15. Just curious.. why would you need the foruma? As a general rule, someone with 99 smithing can repair barrows armor at 1/2 the cost as the normal repair, so.. POH Aprox Cost = Normal Cost * (Smithing Level / 2)% So.. For example. If you had 99 smithing, and were reparing something that normally costs 100k to repair.. POH Aprox Cost = 100k * (99/2)% POH Aprox Cost = 100k * (50)% POH Aprox Cost = 100k * .50 POH Aprox Cost = 50k You can do this for each weapon/armor.
  16. I am aware of that, but im wondering if anyone else has seen the same results of the new potion lasting longer than it is supposed to.
  17. Upon trying one of the new Anti-fire potion doses I got from a pyre burning yesterday I thought I'd try it out at Mith's. So I go in, start killing, and notice its been a long time since I drank the potion, and Im still not getting hit. I was range praying so I would know if the potion ran out. I didnt hear any sound either, and the message at the bottom keeps saying "The sheild deflects some of the dragon fire" and "The potion eliminates the rest of the dragonfire" or something to that effect.. Now, It had been a VERY LONG time, and the potion was still working, It continued to work until I logged out 2 HOURS later. 1 Sip lasted 2 hours? Is this a glitch lasting that long, Or is it a glitch telling is we are protected we the potion has run out? Can someone else do some testing on this to see if they get the same results?
  18. Ive been testing meathods as well and Ive found a pretty good setup. I range wearing Karils, Archer helm, ROW, Rune Xbow, anti-fire sheild, ext.. and most importantly the the accumlator. Range Pray, Anti-fire potion, range using Ruby/Diamond Bolts. If you special on the Ruby bolts while the dragon is high hp, you can hit 20% his hp. 20% of 250 hp is a wopping 50!!~! Once down to 1/2 - 1/4 hp, swich to diamond to finish him off. This meathod works pretty well only using 2 ppots and some sharks for a load of 4-5 kills. And im only 78 range. Players with 80, 90+ range will be much more effective killing very quickly with this meathod. I was someone with 99 range last night with the same setup 6 hit a dragon with his bolt specials.
  19. Content I) Combat Guide > Special Attacks This image was made a long time ago, but I believe it got burried among the many threads before this was re-done. So incase it was lost/missed here it is. A picture of the Anchor Special. Content II) Barrows Here are so useful charts I created for the barrows page if you wish to intregrate them somehow.
  20. Im not saying it is comming, but I do know this... Jagex likes to do what it calls.. "Controlled Leaks". Real Life Politics is much the same way. Stage 1) "The Lure" First, an Idea is "Mistakenly" placed out in the open for people to see. Jagex then waits. Once one person finds it, the whole community now knows. At this point comes stage 2. Stage 2) "The Denial" The concept is always immediatly denied saying it was some sort of type, or coding error. Jagex then waits for feedback on how the players responded. Stage 3) "The Response" Depending on the players response, Jagex then decides if its time to start development for release, or if it stays in the vaults longer. This concept is used by Real Life Companies and Politics ALL the time. I wouldnt be supprised If jagex did this just to test the community. We also saw this same scenario with POH and other items that were released.
  21. and where did you pull that out of the sky from? are you disappointed because of that aprils fool joke with the dragon spinning plates? jagex NEVER said they wont release the rest of the dragon, get that out of your head ty:) Technically BBC is correct. What your thinking of is this quote on the RSOF from Mod Emilee's update Thread. "[Please Do not SUGGEST any] Additional Dragon items". This wasnt saying they wernt going to Make them, just that they didnt want people to suggest them, as Jagex had plenty knowladge of what could be made. People intrepreted this as "Were not going to make them so dont suggest them", which apparently turned out to be incorrect.
  22. we all ready got prayer noob kalphite queen :anxious: Hehe, I just don't see the point in a Rune dragon.. it'd be an insanely high level. You'd be slashing away for about 10 minutes, just to be rewarded with 3 soul runes or something lol. Wouldnt that be the difficulty required for something like a Dragon Plate? I agree tho, I dont wish to see the day these are released any time soon, however Im sure its on Jagex list of possible updates to satisify the 3 year old runescape community when they whine about something. They just hand out something they know they all want to shut them up. Kinda smart on Jagex's part, till the 3 year olds whine the drops are to rare

  24. :shame: How untrue. You forget in a java game, idle time is an action, while it may not sound like it at first. If you stand in one spot you actually get quite a bit of randoms. Yes they are also triggered by events, but even standing still IS an event. Its just some events trigger more than others which is why it appears to only happen certain times. Basically you have 2 classes of random events: A) Triggered Random events B) Random-Random Events A) These events are set off by certain actions. Some actions have a higher % to trigger an event to happen. B) Random-Randoms are set by a timer, and can happen, anytime, anywhere. Bascailly, a Javascript timer picks a random name from the online players list and gives them a random. Then 1-2 seconds later picks another name from the list and so on.. It is actually possible for these 2 types to overlap, so you can actually get 2 randoms at the same time, (Eg, a Random-Random triggers a Triggered Random event). I have seen this happen before, but the odds are so slim its almost non-existant. So YES, randoms ARE random, but also influenced by what you do. Part II) The Wilderness-Random Mass Explination Using this theroy you can also show why the wilderness random-pile exists. If you dont know what a wilderness random pile is refer to his picture: So what happens? Basically what you see is started by either A or B, the first random starts, then a second is triggered by the neraby event. Then because the nearby event increases to 2 events, a 3rd and 4th person gets a random, now you have 4 events, more and more people get randoms until they start to pile, 60+ events and so on, which gives RuneScape 60 chances to spit out a random. Idle time actually increases the chances to spit out a random. Somewhere in Jagex's formula. The exact values arnt know, but it appears to be a value, which is why you see randoms such as this. Ever notice you get a random at almost the exact same time as a person near you? Thats because of this same sort of idea.
  25. Notice Something? The F7 Key is missing. Maybe this will play a role in a bank interface?
