This is following the yet-to-be-proven assumption that they don't enforce the rules :roll:

You need to be more specific. Each skill is different and most skills are harder to get in F2P with the exception of fishing and woodcutting since the most efficient methods can be done in both p2p and f2p. (this is fishing salmon/trout for fishing and cutting willows for woodcutting). The only difference is that F2P don't get much choice. For smithing and firemaking, there is one method (in each of the two skills) that can be done in p2p or f2p. (steel bars made into platebodies, or burning maple/yew logs) However I do not think this counts, since these method both are expensive and p2p have way more options for getting cash. This implies that F2P will take longer to level up both those skills because they will take longer to get the cash and therefore they are harder to do in F2P. (*Note*: this also supports my explanation of why the time taken to get materials is included in time taken to get the levels in a "buyable" skill.) For all the other skills however, p2ps have a more efficient system available to them.

Sitting in your house all day doesn't mean that it requires no patience, in fact that is completely irrelevant. It requires tremendous patience because you're doing the same repetitive thing over and over again for days on end. A lot of people would just give up because they can't do that. Not really if you compare it to cooking/fletching for which you can get even more exp in a shorter amount of time AND that you can train AFK AND that you can sell your products back to get most of your cash back AND that only costs about 6 mill (as opposed to construction which costs 90m)

I know, it's just I didn't expect that many nat autobuyers. This is just a decrease in supply then followed by a change in the supply curve overall if you want to look at it graphically, where the slope becomes horizontal after the Shop price kicks in, but since the shop price is above equilibrium it doesn't matter. This is probably totally confusing without a graph, but I'm too lazy to draw one

Looks like, for nats anyways, they put the price up high. So price of nats has actually risen! Probably due to people/autoers who buy nats from shops now cannot make any profit. I'm just surprised there were so many. Same thing for every other rune it seems.

I'm more concerned about the first question: will this affect us. All the previous answers are either ambiguous or not well explained. The question of "will there be a change in price" is based on what the shop's prices are. (as long as they are sufficiently above the equilibrium price there will be next to no effect) and I believe that they are all high enough for the prices not to affect us, although it wouldn't hurt to double check. Does anyone know what's the SHOP price of a nature rune?

Construction cape, which I'll switch to defense cape if I don't feel like being a center of attention :) When skilling where weight matters (rcing for example), I switch to spottier hunting capes. God cape and legends cape which use to be my common ones will forever remain on my cape rack I think.

No use randomly stating a year. That's just pulling a number out of a hat. I think it will only dissapear if a our society changes so that another MMORPG comes along with a very minimal cost with skills, etc and can somehow offer everything that runescape has created. I can't even picture something like that happening so all I can say is, not soon. (except if techology evolves extremely fast so that the internet becomes out of date which just isn't going to happen) Also don't forget video games as a whole have only been around 25 or so years. There's no saying what might happen.

I can't enjoy myself with the limitations of f2p. I want different areas, different skills, all the minigames. I want to play runescape, simply put.

Balance is good: 8/10 99 fletching won't get you much pride/admiration. Too many people have it, can't you go for something more challenging? Then again it's a bit harder to get your first 99

The javs are my rune javalin collection from metal dragons lol. Unfortunatly I don't have enough money to buy guthans or a whip lol. Hence why you should use the runecrafting. 5/10 you should try for guthans and stuff.

Nah the abyss monsters wont drop it until the required level :shame: Despite it being around the time the abyss was released, explain why i got all 4 pouches at level 48 runecrafting? Sometimes I wish there was a little more trust around here. This whole "witchhunt" to find fake pictures is starting to get ridiculous.

Ah! glad to see someone finally get this goal. For a lot of people 91 rc is still a long way down the road. Not only that, you also got it via the abyss alone! For those who don't know, that's an incredibly hard challenge for which the time spent is calculated in months! Well done, now enjoy a way of making money that far surpasses anything any close skilling method. And if that wasn't enough, you're going for 99 construction! A huge good luck with that. It's an awesome skill and even more good luck if you decide to use the abyss for 99 rc although you're not halfway yet :P PS: world 144 is awesome for rcers. Despite it seemingly full, those people are all at pc, leaving edgeville empty. The pkers won't think of finding you there. :

Shop price sounds interesting. As long as they don't drastically change the prices of nature runes I have no problem with it. Interesting month. It seems the people who are disappointed are not concerned by any of the updates

About racism. Agreed, it seems a lot of people are confused of the difference between "discrimination" and "racism". About elitism, this is true to a certain extent. The people who belittle lower levels are people who are high, but not quite the highest so they take out their jealously by picking on someone lower than them. Otherwise, people who are genuine elites will only act that way if they are provoked.

Video games are a common scapegoat. Probably because adults can't be bothered to understand them.
