Ok, to all those saying this will be useless due to the terrorbird, running pots, ect, there are a few cases where this will be great. A few agility courses and mini games allow no familiars, and having loads of potions or sweets can get expensive and can hog your inventory, taking the place of more usefull items. I have wanted a feature like this for sorcerers garden for ages, just because terrorbirds are not allowed there. This would also allow you to rest in stealing creation, hopefuly while you are in a cloud :pray: . Another case I can see is when you are slaying with a bunyip or unicorn, or using a tortus/pack yak for storage. Then, you cannot use a terrorbird, and resting becomes the next best option. ;) The one thing I think they could add to this, to make it even better, is if you could rest in your bed at your house. This would give you a use for the fairly useles room that you have to have if you have a butler. They could also add to it as well, when you sleep in your bed your other stats (including hp/summon/prayer) regain as well. Overall, I am really going to love this update =D>

The only other thing I could see FM usefull for is creating wall barriors, like around bases and such. Kind of like barakades, but make them pasable only by people on the team who started them. While not as long lasting as barriors around resources, these would not be able to be destroyed, you could only wait till the fire burnt out. Slayer could be added by having clay slayer creatures roaming the game. They die slowly, dropping clay as the die, and have the 20-80 slayer reqs for 2-5. This would give sc clans a combat option, rather than pure skilling, so people who like combat could participate as well. I like your farming idea, but how long would the patches take to grow? Would they be instant, or would there be a set grow-time where all seeds grew on an interval (every 30 seconds, or something like that)? Overall, I like these ideas :thumbsup:

I would have to say I only partly agree with the second article. Yes, my name does have numbers, but that does not separate it from who I am. The fact is, darkpoet837 came about because of who I am, not the other way around. The avatar is an extension of me, even to the point of having my personal number attached to it (yeah, believe it or not, the number means something to me : ). To me, even if the name darkpoet with no numbers had been available, I still would have went with darkpoet837. :) Now, with the character being different from me, I would have to agree. He is almost his own person, with me holding the strings. You could almost call it schizophrenia, with darkpoet837 being an offset of myself, its own person, but still me. I could even imagine having a conversation with my character. :ohnoes: . The way he has developed has taken a life of his own, skills building upon skills like any other character. You try something, if you like it, you get better at it, making you like it more. Soon you form a habit of liking something, and it becomes the character. Take my fascination with Guthix, for example, and in turn me keeping my melee combat stats in almost perfect balance. I found myself having fun training controlled, liked training 4 skills at once. Now, it defines me. Does that make sense? I hope so :thumbsup:

Don't worry; I almost died too. ;) I was stupid when I went to that boss fight, lol. Had full guthix god armor on (no kite), d boots, d gaunts, guthix cloak, fury, defender, whip. Kept guthix pl8, whip, and fury :cry: . Those rangers really did me in, even though I killed the screaming thing herself. As she died, so did I... :wall: Now that I have it done, though, and have a slayer helm, I look back on that moment and laugh :lol: . So yes, it was worth it :D

I would really like the third elemental workshop quest to be released. Smithing is one of my favorite skills, and I loved both of those quests, so getting a third would be great :) . A close second to that would be another jungle or ogre quest (no more like one small favor, though, I hated that quest to the core). =P~

Ok, I am getting really tired of threads like this. Introducing new things into Runescape is more time consuming than you may think, as the game gets more complicated the more they do it. Every time they put new content in, they have to make sure it works with all other updates before it, such as skills, quests, mini games, old areas, ect. Saying they are not working any harder on new updates is pure idiocy. The fact that we have had an update every week for quite some time now amazes me. I would even go as far as to say that we have been spoiled, getting too much. We only pay 5$ a bloody month. There are more expensive games that get far less updates than us, maybe once or twice a year. Sometimes, they even have to pay extra for the updates! Also, about hating all the upgrades we have been given, and are going to get, isn't it updating old things people have been begging for for years? They have needed to refocus onto old skills, old quest lines, old areas, and things already in the game for years, and I am glad they are finally doing it. Taking old things and making them work better with all the new content we have. There has to be a reason for the old things in the game to still be there, and have a use. That's my thoughts on this. *runs back to blues*

Heh....biggest fail....lets see. I died doing smoking kills, as protected from mage and the rangers murdered me #-o . Nearly died doing swan song fighting the queen in full guthans :wall: , teleported using a house tele with 4 hp (if you die in the swan song boss fight, you get no grave, as its in a special quest area :? ). I think I have died, or almost died, at every quest boss I have ever done. And I fail at questing anyways, lol. *109 quest points, cb 115* . Fail enough? :lol: Besides quests, I failed as a low level noob. I did not know what trading was, for a hell of a long time. Some ranger died next to me in varrock tunnels (lol, noob) , dropping 17k steel arrows. What did I do? I sold them to the range shop, 10 at a time. =D>

To 3hit: It would be imposable to have a level 1 def req, as the quest requires d slayer to be done. D slayer gives def xp ;) Ot: I like the apparate spells, they sound like a nice ability. Glad they have the 30 min time limmit though, otherwise they would make doing clues way to easy. You should also put a limmit on them simular to all the other telliports, not being able to telliport in/out of lv 20 wild or higher. Super apparate could have a limmit simular to jewl telliports, 30 or lower :

The nastiest thing.....hmmm...... There was this really mean kid in my class, always being a complete jerk to me whenever he could. Not being the strongest at that age, and him being quite a bit stronger than me, I decided to use my brain instead. I hacked his computer in the lab and set his background to some....well....bad images. Needless to say, he got in quite some trouble and I never got caught :thumbsup: Hope that is not to bad, lol.

Well, I highly doubt that they would get in trouble IRL for doing it, but it could get them banned. The idea behind this is the fact that jagex tracks IP addresses when you log on, so it could technicly cause problems if the person who owned the wireless played RS as well. That is about the only reason I can think of.

maybe something along these lines, rs is based on civilizations and myths of the past, they will be putting ninjas and other things associated with asia Temple trecking comes to mind when I read that. Maybe a mini game along those lines? The only other thing I can imagine from a far east update would be far east weapons and far east skills. How about melee/range/mage weps that require agility to use? :pray: Only speculation on speculation, of course, but hay, its a thought.

I always do my clues, and in fact, hunt for them. I don't hunt for level 3 though, I hunt for level 2. Why? Level 2 are usually quite easy, but are still fun, and still have decent rewards. No multi million gp items, but they do have the trimmed addy and green dhide items, which give decent rewards from being f2p. The god cloaks are anouther good set of items that level 2 clues have to offer : . Imo, level 3 clues hardly seem worth it for all the extra work you do for them. Guess its just a matter of choice. Oh, and my best reward from a clue came from a level 2, a Guthix cloak back when it was still 800-900k \ .

Have you tried taking it untransformed? Edit1: If you can take the tools untramsformed onto entrana, it would open up an easer time with the lost city quest, lol, as you would not have to hunt for a wc axe for the tree =P

Elemental workshop 3, I really want to see what is behind the body door. \

RS does not really help with much, mostly typing skills and quick math. At least thats what I thought. To be honest, RS helped me the most when I took economics . I got one of the highest grades in the class, and thats saying something for a C/B grade person. Got like 97% or so. The thing that rs helped the most with was demand laws and such, along with inflation and deflation ;) . Heck, my teacher even let me do my final presentation on the "economics of mining in runescape", and I aced it :lol:

My public chat is always on hide, so I can still see what people are saying, but dont have endless spam in congested areas such as the GE :) . Ironicly, this causes me to +ignore most pmods, so they dont get through my hidden chat. :roll:

Suprized nobody came up with this one as well, one more type of clue (lvl 4) with dragon rewards. Only dropped at clue rate by powerfull bosses, of course :ohnoes: . Say yes to god trimmed dragon chain! \

I don't think so. I use clothing all the time while skilling or doing non-wild clue scrolls, where the stats really don't matter + being nearly wieghtless helps. They give you a nice outfit while not holding you back. Have to agree with you on emotes though. Besides looking cool (and the random emote clue :wall: ), they really do not provide you with anything. I guess you can say they are ment to be fun, pointless, and random. OT: I really liked the Hallowe'en event and quest. I do most holiday events to take a break from the daily grind of leveling up skills, kind of like seasonal minigames. Some nice xp rewards made it all the more enjoyable =D>

I would have to say...GE, hand down. Altho, it would have been nice if it came out before I quit mems and got stuck with tons of great items that I can not touch till I get mems again... :wall: My favorive part of the GE update was armor sets....you can now store that bank mobbing armor in one nice little tight cube. Srunk my F2P players bank by a bunch. That and 8 more bank spaces, made my year. \
