  1. As Bloodstained said, the new "lifepoint raising" armor was billed as "revolutionizing combat" and being "the solution" for the power creep present in PvP. Yeaaaaaah. No. It could have gone a long way towards fixing combat, if it weren't so difficult to obtain. While it is true that those drops are nowhere near the actual rarity of the Sigils, with the adjusted difficulty of Nex and the amount of supplies (and levels) required to fight it, these items will maintain approximately the same demand/supply ratio as the Sigils. In fact, they may actually end up being rarer than sigils because most people are turned off Nex because of the amount of supplies consumed vs the amount of kills reasonably obtainable per trip.
  2. Lag, Lagging. Therefore some assume it's Lagging, Lagg. And some spell it lagg to make it seem like they're lagging, lol. Extra G's add to the effect. Laggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg seems a lot more effective than "Lag." And no, it's not bots. It's that more people are playing now than any time since the 12/10 update, and Jagex's antiquated servers can't handle the increased loads. Been noticing more disconnections lately, or where it would lag and then suddenly boot you to the log-in screen? Yeah.
  3. I see the prices of PvP items skyrocketing in a few months. Depending on the drop rates, that may be an area that is heavily camped by PK clans, so your chances of survival against both Revs and PKers are slim.
  4. The things that will probably change most are items whose demand greatly exceeds supply (Nex drops, Divine/Ely, rares) and skilling supplies. I predict that d bones will fall quite a bit in the next few months as swarms of RWT-owned bots/farmers move in.

Also, the beacon network is going to become really difficult after Feb 1. :mellow: Doesn't really affect me because I'll probably never get the skills to do it, but for people who are close to being able to, I'd advise you to get it done. All it takes is one griefer and you have to start the whole damn process over.

  7. Very nice. I may try out Mith Drags, you got those charms pretty quickly.
  8. Roll 5d100 to see if you get a rare drop. If you roll below 75 on any of the rolls, you don't get a rare drop. If all five rolls are above 75, roll a 6th time to decide what rare it is. If you roll a 100 on the 6th roll, you get a divine sigil.
  9. It's a good time to try to get a Yak. That's all I have to say. Yak away your clue before you die.
  10. Most high levels dont ONLY use 3 expensive items yeah they might keep there divine,so thier barrow helmet/bandos legs will not make it. which will make it ATLEAST 5m+ loss And claws. You'll almost always lose D claws.
  11. Jagex actually did say they would consider making the rules different at bosses when someone brought this point up. They acted like they had never thought of this problem before, too. That's Jagex for you.

  13. Now we don't even need to kill players to brings tons of cash into the game' date=' just wimpy little ghosts. I hope revenants are [b']WAY[/b] more powerful to balance this out. The balancing factor is that the dungeon is PvP-enabled, so what is likely is that you'll have Revenants attacking you along with clans of PKers.
  14. GF CORP/DIV/ELY EASY SOLOING Actually I would think it will be the other way around. No grave = Dropped Items Visible to everyone? Meaning if you die at corp (which would be relatively common) instead of being able to run back and pick up your items before the item vanish timer is up, ANYONE could pick up your items immediately. This would make corp more expensive to kill because if you die you lose anything valuable that isn't non-tradeable due to looters. Unless the new grave system doesn't apply to corp that is, and you are given a 60 second grace period. Unless they say otherwise though, I would assume corp death = same mechanics as no grave. 60 seconds is not enough. You have two minutes now, and you still just barely get back in time to pick up all your stuff.
  15. Seems like most of the changes Jagex are making are catering to griefers, whether that was Jagex's intention or not. :mellow:
  16. Not unless things change. First of all, Chaos Ele is in the wild and therefore that area will be a definite PKer hot-spot. Second, Chaos Ele has the highest respawn timer in the whole game-- the only monster anywhere close is the KQ. Getting this gear from it is just not viable.
  17. That's the way it seems. I disagree with almost all of the decisions Jagex has made regarding this, except for a Rev Dungeon to get PvP items. Lootable graves will really hurt MHing. TDs will become a lot more irritating now, too, since there will no doubt be a whole new horde of [wagon] who go there just to try to get people killed. And DKs... Oh lordy.
  18. What was the point in baiting me? FWIW, I've never been killed by a PKer while doing a clue. Never. Still doesn't mean I agree with killing unarmed enemies just to make them "rage." I also don't like all these nerds coming on here and bragging about how they're going to be douchebag lurers when the Wildy comes out.
  19. Solo is more efficient than duo/trio... You can't get effigies in teams and you only get half the charms. That said, duo is a lot more enjoyable.
  20. GG. Both items ruin PvP, imo. As do D claws and to a lesser degree, AGS.

  22. You lose 10% of your LSP each day. And I highly doubt that "FFA-LS" teams will be very popular. It's all too easy to claim a BS drop when you get a Torva item and just keep all the profits for yourself. And many people would do that, especially if they weren't with a group of good friends.
  23. ...You know that free trade is going to SOLVE most problems we have with manipulation, right? Manipulation is caused by the GE price limits making it so damn easy and profitable- now that a manipulated item won't take several days to lose its false GE price and become normally tradable again, there's little incentive to operate a merch clan. Now, instead we will see a group of "manipulators" set up shop at a specific item's spot and all collectively spam "SELLING X ITEM FOR Y GP MORE THAN EVERYONE ELSE." They'll drown out all the competition through numbers, and the competition will quickly sell their items because it will be cheaper and so soon everyone will have to pay the manipulators' prices. It's not viable long-term because they can't stay on all the time to keep the prices at what they spam, but it is a hell of a way to profit short-term. Yes, this would be extremely effective if the people couldn't just walk to the GE and buy the item at a reasonable price there. Hahaha, I forgot about that. ^^ When I remember pre-12/10, there was no GE.
